The episode, Dinner Party Disaster, showcased Emily and Shane, celebrating their 15th anniversary. It featured the aftermath of the argument between Katie and Heather in the previous episode about the staged paparazzi.
Vicki, Shannon, and Tamra, the Tres Amigas, were seen together after a long time. However, their meeting soon turned bitter when Tamra mocked Shannon’s drinking habit, steering the conversation to the cast member’s DUI accident. With tension building, Tamra’s friend, Alexis, publicly revealed the receipts for the money John gave to his ex, Shannon.
Shannon left the table, feeling humiliated. Fans of the show were displeased with Tamra and Alexis’ remarks about The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member. They took to X to express their disappointment and criticize the duo for their harsh demeanor.

In one segment of episode 5, Tamra and Alexis analyzed Shannon and John’s relationship. Tamra revealed Shannon used to be upset with John because he paid “for nothing.” Then Alexis disclosed that Shannon borrowed $75,000 from her ex for a face-lift.
Alexis thought Shannon was trying to sabotage her relationship with John. Therefore, she seemed determined to expose her alleged lies to safeguard her relationship.
Later in the episode, the ladies went for dinner. When Shannon ordered a drink, Tamra remarked:
“Oh yeah, an alcoholic should drink. Yeah.”
When Shannon defended herself by saying she regretted her past actions, Tamra said:
“Is that after you have a drink?”
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast members criticized Tamra for berating Shannon, but she refused to back out. Just when Shannon stormed off, Alexis revealed the former borrowed money from John for “a facelift and a loan.”
Shannon refused to believe Alexis’ claims and said John accused her of debt because it was he who spent too much. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member called her ex a “monster.”
