The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast is back for a 16th season following the sudden exit of the series’ longest-running Housewife, Kandi Burruss, in February of last year.
Following months of rumors regarding Kenya Moore‘s suspension from the series, and her shocking behavior toward Brittany Eady, 37, the ladies, including Porsha Williams, 43, Phaedra Parks, 51, Drew Sidora, 39, Shamea Morton, 42, Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley, as well as Cynthia Bailey, 57, who will appear in a “friend” role, have plenty in store with their new episodes.
“I’m back, baby!” Porsha declares as the trailer begins. “This is the Real Housewives of Atlanta …. You should be ready whenever because you already know it’s coming.”
As Shamea admits to playing the “underdog” as she’s gifted a Rolls Royce, Brittany describes herself as a “Barbie” as she hops into a Ferrari and Kelli introduces herself as “a good time.”
“[I’m] a little spicy [and] a little feisty,” she shares as she butts heads with Porsha.
Meanwhile, Angela, the wife of NBA legend Charles Oakley, 61, declares, “Let me make this clear: I’m married to a celebrity. My DMs are flooded.” Kenya also announces, “I’m twirlin’ on my haters!”
One of the haters Kenya may have been referring to is Brittany, who she lashes out against.
“So who is this hoe?” Kenya asks as she debuts a poster board to the women, seemingly confirming the allegations of revenge porn. “Brit Eady is her name.”
“It couldn’t go any lower,” Cynthia replies of the display.
Elsewhere, after learning what Kenya had done, Brittany cries, “She thinks this is okay?”
“That was Kenya’s choice to twirl on down to hell,” Porsha states.
As for her former fiance, Dennis McKinley, 44, he begins working with Drew as an executive producer on her music.
“You think I’m banging Drew?” he asks.
“Yes or no?” Porsha replies.
Porsha also finds herself in some drama with Angela after saying she “heard something about Charles.”
“She’s talking about my husband and then she was like, ‘You know what? I should f*ck Charles,’” Angela alleges.
Porsha’s divorce from Simon Guobadia, 60, is also addressed.
“The frauding, the scamming, it makes you think, how much of it was real,” Porsha is told by her mother.
Also coming up on season 16 of RHOA is Shamea’s discussion about her ectopic pregnancy and her efforts to mend her relationship with Porsha.
“I would like to express the things that have hurt me in our friendship,” Shamea tells Porsha. “You’re yawning. Am I boring you?”
