Szczesny Talks Lewandowski, Yamal, Messi, and Barcelona Journey: ‘Don’t Want to Think’

Wojciech Szczesny, the Juventus goalkeeper, recently opened up about various topics, including his former teammate Robert Lewandowski, Barcelona's young prospect Lamine Yamal, and the legendary Lionel Messi. Szczesny, who spent a significant part of his career at Arsenal, shared his thoughts in a candid interview.

Reflecting on his time with Lewandowski at Arsenal, Szczesny praised the Polish striker's professionalism and work ethic. 'Robert was always the first to arrive and the last to leave training,' he remarked. He also expressed admiration for Barcelona's 16-year-old sensation, Lamine Yamal, whom he described as 'a talent that comes around once in a generation.'

Regarding Lionel Messi's potential contract renewal with Barcelona, Szczesny remained cautiously optimistic. 'Messi is Barcelona, and Barcelona is Messi. It's hard to imagine him anywhere else,' he stated, although he admitted the situation is complex.

When asked about his own future and potential return to Barcelona, where he spent a season on loan, Szczesny was more reserved. 'I don't want to think about it too much,' he said, indicating a focus on his current role at Juventus.

Szczesny's insights provide a fascinating glimpse into the minds of some of football's biggest names and the ongoing narratives at clubs like Barcelona and Juventus.
