Jurgen Klopp’s Right-Hand Man Peter Krawietz Joins Red Bull Salzburg

Peter Krawietz, the former assistant manager to Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, has embarked on a new chapter in his coaching career by joining Red Bull Salzburg. Krawietz, who left Liverpool alongside Klopp at the end of the 2023/24 season, has been appointed as the head of coaching at the Austrian club, marking his first role since departing Anfield.

The move reunites Krawietz with the Red Bull family, having previously worked with RB Leipzig during Klopp's tenure at Borussia Dortmund. His new position at Salzburg is seen as a strategic move to bolster the club's coaching infrastructure, leveraging Krawietz's extensive experience and tactical acumen.

Klopp and Krawietz's partnership at Liverpool was highly successful, contributing to the club's Premier League and Champions League triumphs. Krawietz's departure from Liverpool was emotional, but his new role at Salzburg offers an exciting opportunity to influence the next generation of football talent.
