Jonathan David’s Future: Tottenham and Liverpool in the Race

The transfer market is heating up with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool both actively pursuing Lille striker Jonathan David. According to reports from Spurs Web, Tottenham are in 'active and concrete negotiations' to secure the services of the Canadian international, amid interest from several Premier League clubs.

Liverpool, on the other hand, have been linked with David as well. The Liverpool Echo suggests that the Reds could be looking to sign the 23-year-old, who has an impressive goal tally of 23 in the Ligue 1 last season. David's potential move to Anfield is further supported by his own comments on his future, as mentioned in an interview with Anfield Index, where he expressed openness to new challenges.

Adding to the competition, Team Talk reports that Manchester United, along with two other Premier League clubs, are also in talks to sign David, who could be available on a free transfer. This multi-club interest underscores the high demand for the young striker, who has scored 107 goals in his career so far.
