RHONJ’s Jennifer Aydin Faces a Harsh Reality Check

With rumors continuing to swirl about who may or may not be retained for the next season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, it’s pretty safe to say that Jennifer Aydin will not be featured in any capacity. Following her abysmal display at a Jersey Mike’s, the Bravolebrity learned the hard way that just because you’re on a TV show does not give you an excuse for poor behavior. As much as she’s tried to defend her actions, the fandom turned on her, and thus, so has the network.

Now, seemingly out of a job, it appears that Jennifer Aydin is back to civilian life. Certainly, there will be deals that may trickle in, but watching her reality television career come tumbling down before her eyes was a dose of just how quickly the fandom can make or break someone’s career. Jennifer has lost her allies. She’s got nowhere to go. Knowing she’s not going to go silently into oblivion, is there another move for the Paramus mom, or is her career officially sliced and diced?

Jennifer Aydin Has Been the Common Denominator

Jennifer’s tenure on The Real Housewives of New Jersey has centered around being a minion for Teresa Giudice. As part of the arsenal, Teresa utilized her chaotic energy to keep the villainous moniker off her back. At first, Jennifer was eccentric, seemingly going ham because the cameras were around. She was always a bit off-color and uncouth. So, the more she was built up as this false reality television prophet, the further her antics became insufferable. Because she was so tightly aligned with Bravo’s favorite lady, Jennifer played a game thinking she, too, could do no wrong. But that was not even close to the case. Aside from Teresa, was there anyone she didn’t feud with? As they say, if you’re the most common denominator, you’re likely the problem.

In her last season, Jennifer’s now true colors were exposed. It had an ugly, dark side. She used this aura that she was above the rest to dictate how she treated people. The physical altercation between herself and Danielle Cabral was truly the precursor to how she lives her life and sees herself in reality. It’s one thing to treat individuals you film with a certain way knowing it’s for entertainment. But to then bring that despicable behavior into the real world, Jennifer got what was coming to her. To this day, she continues to defend her actions. She has placed the blame on the employees, which truly was the vile icing on the cake. It was a step too far for even her closest allies. Jennifer Aydin has never been able to admit fault. So, when the fans realized it was not just for TV, there was no way her time on Bravo could ever continue.

Jennifer Aydin’s Bubble’s Burst

It’s hard to understand reality when you live in a bubble. For many reality stars, the bubble they live in is created by the people who celebrate them. But they sometimes forget how, as quickly as the bubble is created, the fans can burst it. After the fast food fallout, Jennifer was uninvited from “Wives on the Waves,” the Housewives fan cruise, being replaced by Shannon Beador. And let’s be honest, uninviting a Housewife from an event is almost like a death sentence. But Jennifer, why include you in a fan event when the fans have turned their back on you? When you are part of a massive franchise, being let go can be hard, but there’s still a chance the network may have faith in you for a different project. But how can they keep you around if no one wants to see you? Jennifer’s dismissal from the cruise was Bravo’s excuse to cut ties with the Garden State villain for good.

Bravo has still yet to confirm or deny anyone’s involvement with the potential Season 15, but it’s almost certain that Jennifer Aydin will not be involved. Not even in a demoted position. The Real Housewives of New Jersey have tossed around words like loyalty and trust as core traits that dictate their world. After her Jersey Mike’s debacle, could you ever trust Jennifer Aydin again? Would you want to be loyal to someone who’s willing to be so disgusting? Image is everything. There is no way to rehabilitate Jennifer Aydin’s character when the entire series needs to be rehabed. So, Jen. Was it worth throwing it all away to make a scene for some social media likes? Probably not.
