RHOBH Recap: Dorit Opens Up About Split From PK, Her Son’s Reaction, and a Truce With Kyle – Plus, Sutton Confronts Kyle and Garcelle Throws a Beachside Bash!

If we had a dollar for every time Kyle stormed out saying she is “done” and “not doing this anymore,” we’d be rich. But on this episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle realizes that being a girl’s girl is more important to her than maintaining a friendship with PK. Luckily, Garcelle‘s beach house party will not be ruined by drama… this time!

Kyle is having a hard time adjusting to her empty home. She realizes that her daughters choose to spend more time leaning on each other as the separation from Mo continues, but it does not make it any easier. It also doesn’t help that Kyle left Boz’s house on a bad note the other night. As she chats with Erika, Kyle explains that she is over her integrity and character getting questioned.  This situation about the PK texts has spiraled, and Erika is tired of everyone getting involved. The resolution must come between Dorit and Kyle. Period.

Dorit and her new bestie, Bozoma, get together for some drinks. Even after Dorit says she doesn’t want to talk about herself first, off she goes, talking about how she has questioned her strength lately when it comes to the separation. Dorit is grateful to have Boz, a friend who has her best interest at heart (and a friend who listens while she yammers away).

Boz wonders what the truth is: Did Kyle really know nothing about PK and Dorit’s marital issues, or was Kyle really one of the first people Dorit told about the troubles in the marriage? Dorit clarifies and explains that she opened up to Kyle about her relationship with PK about a year ago, so Kyle was “well aware.” Because of all the alleged lying, Kyle is looking really bad in Boz’s eyes. We further learn that the day Dorit and PK decided to separate, PK’s sponsor was the one who suggested the separation, so Dorit’s unsure if this was PK’s idea or the sponsor’s. Dorit is tired because she spent all those years defending and protecting PK just for it to end like this.

Garcelle has decided to host all of the women at her finally finished beach house. She is excited to have them there, but she wonders why Kyle has organized a dinner with a few of the crew before the get-together. This seems like a “protect me” move on Kyle’s end, especially since she only invited Sutton, Garcelle, and Erika to this dinner.

Garcelle is the first to arrive at Kyle’s dinner. Garcelle does not feel like she has violated Kyle’s trust by sharing the contents of the text with Boz, but Kyle refers to the group as a “twisted cult.” It is evident that Kyle has shared more than memes with PK, and it’s interesting how defensive she STILL becomes regarding this topic. Kyle is steadfast that over their seven-year friendship, there have been texts to and from PK, but nothing has been said about Dorit. Say what?! Another day, another story from Kyle.

Kyle is the most triggered because she doesn’t like her character getting attacked. She prides herself on being a truthful person, so she is especially frustrated by the repeated questioning by the group. When Sutton rolls up, she asks outright, “Why are we here?” Leave it to Sutton to say what everyone is thinking. Kyle clearly wanted to smooth things over in this smaller group setting, and she wants some allies.

Erika wonders if it’s a meeting of the board of directors. Kyle takes the time to apologize for what she said, yet she also states she meant what she said. Sutton wants Kyle to apologize for holding herself to a different standard than everyone else. She also wants Kyle to realize that she needs to be accountable for her actions.

Garcelle looks on chuckling as Sutton holds Kyle’s feet to the fire. Kyle gives another blanket apology for “what she said,” and Erika just wants Sutton to leave Kyle alone at this point. Kyle continues to say she felt overwhelmed, and Sutton adds that everyone was surprised by Kyle’s reaction. Sutton points out that Kyle yelled at her when she reacted in the past, and she wishes that next time, Kyle would stay put instead of storming off.

Garcelle is excitedly preparing for her beach house party now that her home is finally complete. The rest of the crew gather at Kyle’s house so they can all travel together. Boz is surprised that Kyle did not offer an apology after storming out of her home, but alas, there is none. Dorit arrives and shares with the ladies that her son Jagger asked if she was divorced. Seems like Jagger caught wind of Dorit’s Instagram, and in this era of social media, it’s hard to keep things secret from the kids.

In the midst of Dorit’s monologue, Sutton jumps in and cuts her off to remind them all that Garcelle wants this to be a fun day, and they should get going. Dorit realizes that she was “rudely interrupted,” and it’s rich that Kyle believes that Sutton has a lot of rules for everyone else, but not for herself.

When they finally arrive at the beach, the ladies ooh and ahh over the home that Garcelle created all by herself. Garcelle gifts the group some loungewear from her line, which naturally ticks Dorit off since she “curated” her look for the day. They head down to the beach via golf cart, and Kyle gets the opportunity to clear the air with Dorit once and for all.

They escape the group setting, and Dorit asks Kyle if she can consider her a true friend. Kyle wants to save this friendship and so does Dorit. Dorit questions the “I’ve never repeated anything you said” from Kyle’s text, but Kyle wants to be clear that she only said that to show PK that she is a safe space. Dorit’s point is, where does Kyle’s loyalty lie? Dorit wants Kyle to be a girl’s girl. Kyle promises that she has never said anything bad about Dorit to PK, and Dorit wants to get back to having comfortable conversations with Kyle. Kyle is willing to ditch her friendship with PK in order to move on with Dorit.

Things seem to be on the up and up after Kyle and Dorit hug it out and decide that women need to stick together. Everyone is tired of their drama, especially Erika. Garcelle begins to lighten the mood further with some games, and we learn about what the group would do for money. Dorit goes on to share that Erika has never been in love before and Boz admits to loving love. Jennifer talks a bit about the love she has for her boyfriend and for her ex-husband.

Finally, Garcelle has some lanterns and asks the women to make a wish and set them up into the sky. The intention is lovely — until the wind blows the lanterns away, the women have to chase after them, and Kyle pees her pants. It’s all very symbolic…
