Mauricio Umansky, who has a history of skiing in the region, emphasized how important his safety gear was during the accident. “I was wearing a helmet and that for sure saved me,” he added. The reality star’s helmet undoubtedly played a key role in preventing more severe injuries, reinforcing the importance of wearing proper safety equipment on the slopes.

He went on to reassure his fans that he’s staying positive throughout the recovery process, acknowledging the risks of skiing but also expressing appreciation for the excellent care he’s received. “Let’s get this surgery done so I can heal,” he said. “Play hard, sometimes you get hurt.
