Kyle Richards just revealed how her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, is doing following his recent skiing accident in Aspen.
ICYMI, The Agency founder sustained a “broken clavicle” while he was skiing in Colorado.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member, however, revealed that Mauricio is “doing well” following his surgery.
“He had a plate put in his shoulder and had to have emergency surgery, but he’s doing well,” Kyle explained during an Amazon Live stream on February 18. “I was like, ‘Please 2025 can go f all the way off.’ I can’t with all of this.”
What happened to Mauricio Umansky?
The real estate agent opened up about his Aspen injury on Instagram. “I had surgery on my clavicle, it was a clean break but it required a metal plate and 12 screws,” he wrote in the caption of a photo he posted on the app on February 17. “I expect a speedy recovery… I was wearing a helmet and that for sure saved me.”
Mauricio also posted a series of Instagram Stories from his hospital bed as well as he began his recovery.
“I feel so blessed to be taken care of by such amazing humans,” he wrote over a selfie of him in the hospital bed. “Ski patrol, [paramedics], Aspen Hospital, you’re all the best. Broken clavicle.”

Kyle Richards reveals where she stands with Mauricio Umansky today
Kyle, who has been supporting best friend Teddi Mellencamp as she recovers from brain tumor surgery, shared that she hasn’t seen Mauricio in-person since he got injured in Aspen. Regardless, the diamond holder went on to note that she and Mauricio are still on great terms.
“We are very good friends who care about each other,” she said during her livestream about where she stands with Mauricio today. “And I think it’s really impacted how my daughters [Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie, Alexia Umansky, Sophia Umansky, and Portia Umansky] have dealt with all of this for sure.”
“All of this” is referring to the pair’s separation. Kyle and Mauricio split up after 27 years of marriage in 2023, and Mauricio moved out of their Encino home in the spring of 2024. Though Kyle and Mauricio have yet to officially file for divorce, Mauricio has moved on in his romantic life.
