Kyle Cooke wants to patch things up with his former “Summer House” co-star Hannah Berner, but he said her “lies” have stopped them from making amends.
“I’m not the one talking about Hannah — it’s the inverse,” Cooke told hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy at Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” live event held at Chelsea Table & Stage in New York City on Thursday.
“I’m not the one out there spewing lies.”

Cooke’s comments were made in response to the positive conversation between his wife, Amanda Batula, and Berner’s “Giggly Squad” co-host, Paige Desorbo, which took place on Wednesday’s episode.
As many “Summer House” fans may recall, Berner — who starred on the Bravo series for three seasons until her 2021 exit — and Cooke’s feud has been going on for many years.
In July 2024, the “Giggly Squad” podcast host spoke on the rift between her and Cooke, claiming that their fallout stemmed from her decision to partner with Truly Seltzer — a competing hard seltzer brand to Cooke’s Loverboy beverage company.
“The truth is beef started ’cause I did an ad for Truly Seltzer, and I didn’t know that I, like, wasn’t allowed to,” she said. “I didn’t know that I wasn’t allowed to drink other drinks,” she said in an appearance on Barstool’s “BFFs” podcast.

In her “BFFs” podcast appearance, Berner implied that she and Cooke’s feud started after she promoted a competing hard seltzer brand to Cooke’s Loverboy.

While she said her decision to leave didn’t come from the network, Berner shared that she ultimately decided to leave because “some people on the cast got annoyed at [her].”
“I think some of these shows become a lot of egos,” she said. “And it’s like, ‘It’s my show. It’s my drink. You can’t do that.’ And there’s no rules, and it just becomes fighting over egos and screen time, and it’s not that fun after doing it for too many seasons.”
The comedian’s comments led fans to believe that Cooke had a hand in her exit from the show. However, Cooke quickly denied being involved in Berner’s exit in an interview with Page Six later that month.

“I have nothing to do with casting,” Cooke said at the time, saying it was “upsetting” that “this is the narrative being shared because there’s no truth to it.”
Cooke also shared that he “would love” to bury the hatchet between them at that point
“I hate having lingering issues with anyone in my life, and I always hoped for an opportunity to reconcile things with Hannah. … I don’t want any bad blood and wish her nothing but success,” he said.
