Lisa Vanderpump Reveals She Always Suspected Something Off About Jax Taylor, Reacts to His Cocaine Addiction, and Teases RHOBH & The Traitors Return

Jax Taylor recently came clean about his struggles with sobriety and his use of cocaine. Since then, there have been many reactions to what he had to say, with his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, being one. Now, his former boss, Lisa Vanderpump, is sharing her thoughts on The Valley star’s sobriety journey. Plus, she’s also discussing The Traitors and if she’d ever do the show.

Fans of Vanderpump Rules know that there has long been talk of Jax, 45, not being sober, and some reports said early on that his drug of choice was cocaine. Recently, he admitted that he’d been addicted to the substance on and off since he was 23. After his admission, Brittany, 36, stated that she had reservations about how committed he was to remaining sober.

While hosting his radio show recently, Andy Cohen, 56called Lisa, 64, during a segment known as “Call a Bravo Friend.” When she answered, she first joked, “Are you going to give me some good news like I’m going back to Housewives or something?”

They then spend a little while joking about her returning to RHOBH, and she then said, “I think the last time I said there’s more of a chance of a pig flying to the moon.”

Andy then asked for her reaction to the news about Jax. She said, “How long has this been going on? I knew that he had a huge deal with me. I think it was when he said, ‘You’re on my show.’ As I looked into his eyes, I knew something was awry for sure.”

She went on, “You know, Jax is very stubborn. He’s going to tell you what he wants you to know, so to speak. But I knew, yeah. I knew something was going on, but I haven’t really had that much contact with him. Obviously, I’m a producer on The Valley, but I’m not that involved with The Valley. Not like I am with Vanderpump Rules.”

Lisa added, “Is there maybe a chance for his relationship to have a reboot, so to speak?”

In other Lisa news, she also had an interview with PRIDE, where they asked her about Traitors, given that Tom Sandoval recently did it. She said, “I didn’t think he had to go on that show to prove that he was a traitor. He’s a naughty boy. As long as he’s having fun because I think that he went through a very dark period of his life, so I’m glad that he’s having a good time.”

Regarding whether she would do it, Lisa said, “People have talked about it, but I’m actually too busy. I have a couple of shows already, in case you forgot. I was on three shows last year. They keep a woman busy, for sure. And opening two restaurants.”

Regarding the upcoming VPR reboot, she said, “Well, I think one of the entertaining things about Vanderpump Rules is that it’s always unpredictable. It’s always based on authenticity. It has to be about relationships that form naturally. It’s not like let’s cast and bring some people together like some of the shows, but they’re fantastic as well, but this is about existing relationships. How people get it right and maybe something get it so very wrong.”
