Vicki Gunvalson has broken her silence on Teddi Mellencamp’s brain tumor surgery amid their bitter years-long feud.
The RHOC star, 62, pushed aside the ‘ridiculous’ drama and sent her prayers to Teddi and her loved ones during Tuesday’s episode of My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast.
Last week, Mellencamp took to Instagram to reveal that multiple brain tumors were found after she was suffering from severe headaches for weeks and underwent emergency surgery to remove two of the larger tumors.
‘I have prayed for Teddi. My heart goes out to her, the children, [her estranged husband] Edwin [Arroyave], everybody,’ Vicki expressed.
Teddi, 43, announced her split from Edwin last year in November after 13 years of marriage but following her recent health update, he has rushed to her side to support the star.
Gunvalson added that there is ‘no bitterness when it comes to health’ and that any drama was ‘so stupid.’

She continued, ‘I just wish the best for her. I hope she recovers. Teddi, if you are listening, I wish you the very best.’
The reality star concluded with an encouraging message and added, ‘My heart goes out to you and you’ve got this girl. You are strong.’
Teddi and Vicki’s feud began in 2022 when Gunvalson said in an interview that she was not a fan of Mellencamp.
The following year, she doubled down on her feelings about the RHOBH star and expressed that she ‘did not like’ Teddi and also said she was the rudest Housewife ‘from another city.’
Teddi also accused Vicki of attempting to steal her podcast job in a swipe on Instagram.
Tamra Judge – who is close pals with Mellencamp and co-hosts their Two T’s In A Pod podcast – shared her response to Vicki’s message on an episode that aired Wednesday.
‘Despite all the bad blood between her and Teddi, I heard that she did go on her podcast and say, like, “Teddi doesn’t deserve this,” and she’s praying for her,’ Judge stated.
‘And all the things that went down between them [don’t] matter when it comes to cancer and things – like, it doesn’t. We appreciate that. We really do.’

Tamra also became emotional as she revealed why she won’t give any health updates regarding her close friend who is recovering from brain tumor surgery.
‘You know, a lot of people are reaching out to me and they want me to get them an update. And because nobody’s saying anything, people are coming up with their own stories and things like that.
‘It’s not my place. What do you guys want me to do? Do you want me to take pictures from the hospital and post them? I’m not doing that,’ she said.
Tamra further expressed that ‘some people have been getting mean’ because she hasn’t been offering updates.
‘And I just said, “I’m so sorry. I know you’re concerned, but it’s not my place. It’s not my place.” All I can do is pray on her and love her like all of her friends are doing. And that’s it.’
Tamra later broke down in tears as she recalled a conversation she had with Teddi before the surgery last week.
‘She [Teddi] really wants this podcast to continue. It’s her pride and joy, and she’s so good at it, and she wants the momentum to keep going. And she just wants everybody to know that when she can get back, she’ll be back.’

Earlier this week, Edwin shared that he was planning on visiting Teddi in the hospital with their daughters.
Teddi and Edwin share three children Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, four. She is also stepmother to his daughter Bella, 15, from a previous relationship.
While taking a selfie with Slate and Bella, Edwin typed out, ‘On our way to visit mom.’
In a separate post, he also sent gratitude to the prayers from fans and wrote: ‘Our family is thankful to everybody for your continued prayers and well wishes. Teddi is beyond grateful for the outpouring of love while she continues to recover.’
Teddi’s sister, Justice, also gave a heartwrenching update alongside a photo of herself sitting next to her sibling who rested in a hospital bed.
She penned, ‘Watching a loved one suffer is horrific. I’ve tried to get back to everyone who has reached out & I know Teddi will share her journey when she is ready. She is by far the strongest person I know.
‘So many emotions as I travel home today but her village is the best one I’ve ever seen and I’m so grateful for them (prayer hands emoji). Your prayers are everything. Thank you.’

‘Right now, Edwin’s focus is on her recovery and the divorce is off the table. It is no longer being discussed. His concern is that she gets better.’
The insider added, ‘The surgery was successful, and she is expected to return to the home she shared with Edwin and their three children. They are going to help Teddi recover.’
Shortly after her procedure, Edwin took to social media to share that he had never seen Teddi in ‘so much pain.’
He wrote, ‘All I will say right now is surgery went well. That said, I’ve never seen @teddimellencamp in so much pain. She’s finally getting some needed rest. I know she is so grateful for the outpouring of love.’
Teddi had two tumors removed and will require radiation to treat ‘smaller’ tumors that remain in her brain at a later date.
Her brain tumors were discovered just three years after Teddi announced that she was diagnosed with stage II melanoma – the most dangerous form of skin cancer. She has undergone a total of sixteen procedures to remove the melanomas.
Before her emergency surgery, Teddi was visited by her loved ones and close friends.
In a photo shared to Instagram, Edwin could be seen standing next to her as she rested in a hospital bed.
She lifted her arm to place her hand on the back of his neck as his own gently laid on her shoulder.

In the caption, Edwin wrote: ‘Jeremiah 17:14: Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.’
‘Lord, I lift up @teddimellencamp to You. You are the Great Healer, and I ask for Your healing touch upon her body.’
‘Restore her strength, renew her spirit, and let her feel Your comforting presence. Grant her peace, hope, and full recovery. In Jesus’ name, Amen,’ he concluded.
Edwin also shared a short clip to his Instagram stories which featured their youngest child Dove as he explained he would be sleeping at the hospital to be by Teddi’s side.
Last week in a statement, Teddi expressed: ‘For the last several weeks I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization.
‘After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months.
‘Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today – The remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date.’
She added, ‘I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health.

‘As my dad said this am, god only gives hard stuff to those of us who can handle it. It’s a hard day but I have faith and amazing surgeons and know everything will be ok.’
In another post, a friend of Teddi’s could be seen shaving her head and the star wrote in the caption, ‘All I need now is an umbrella.’
