Kyle Richards learned that her ex Mauricio Umansky was making out with another woman at the end of this week’s episode of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The 56-year-old Richards and 54-year-old Umansky tied the knot in 1996 and they share three daughters together, Alexia, 28, Sophia, 25, and Portia, 16.
They both stunned the reality TV world in July 2023 when it was revealed that they had split, though they both released a statement denying that they are divorcing.
Still, nearly two years later, there’s no clarity about whether or not Kyle and Mauricio are splitting for good or getting back together, which was complicated greatly when Mauricio was spotted making out with a much younger woman back in July 2024.
At the same time, Kyle was sparking rumors of a lesbian romance with singer Morgan Wade, while the woman Mauricio was making out with was later identified as 33-year-old actress Nikita Kahn.
Kyle found out about Maurcio’s tryst at the end of Tuesday’s RHOBH, with fans flocking to social media to share their theories about why Kyle and Mauricio have still not gotten a divorce yet.

Still, nearly two years later, there’s no clarity about whether or not Kyle and Mauricio are splitting for good or getting back together, which was complicated greatly when Mauricio was spotted making out with a much younger woman back in July 2024.
During Tuesday’s new episode of RHOBH, Kyle and Dorit Kemsley were trying to mend their fences, talking about their respective splits.
Just weeks after they vowed to ‘start fresh,’ they started arguing yet again during Dorit’s 4th of July barbecue, though cooler heads would ultimately prevail.
They escaped the group and started talking about their respective splits – Kyle’s with Mauricio and Dorit’s with Paul “PK” Kemsley.
Neither were sure if their respective estranged husbands wanted a divorce or wanted to get back together, as Kyle said they were both, ‘stagnant.’
Dorit added, ‘I don’t know what he’s doing. If he’s out there acting like a single man and dating, well…’ though Kyle said, ‘I think we would know. I mean, it’s kinda hard to do that in our world.’
The show then cuts to ‘one week later,’ as they showed various headlines about Umansky’s photos kissing Kahn.
They then cut to Erika Jayne, who connects with Kyle in a video call, asking, ‘Did you know this coming?’
‘Not at all,’ Kyle answered, adding, ‘I don’t know. I don’t really know how I am,’ as the episode came to an end.
While Kyle still seemingly doesn’t know what’s going to happen with her relationship with Mauricio, many fans were quick to theorize why they’re so ‘stagnant,’ and it involves money.

‘I feel like Mauricio is putting off divorce ’cause he doesn’t want to deal with separating their entangled finances as tied to The Agency, & he knows Kyle will go along with staying separated ’cause he knows she’s scared of officially giving up the life they had together,’ theorized Gibson Johns (@gibsonoma).
The Agency he referred to is Umansky’s successful real estate agency he founded in 2011, where he has sold more than $5 billion worth of properties.
The former couple’s personal net worth was reportedly over $100 million in 2024, though it’s unclear how much Kyle and Mauricio might be worth each alone.
There are some like @itsabravoworld speculating Umansky doesn’t want his worth being made public in a divorce proceeding.
‘Mauricio doesn’t want his financial stuff to get out in a divorce. And Kyle know it. That’s why they’re not divorced,’ the X user added.
Still, others were hopeful for a reconciliation, like @BrvoUniversitea, who said, ‘Deep down, I think Mo and Kyle will get back together. I don’t see them wanting to be old with anyone else, but each other.’
