Boz Saint John Reveals Plans for Home After Wildfire & RHOBH Drama, Plus Her Take on Kathy Hilton’s Gift

Much has been said about this new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which has found Dorit Kemsley in the driver’s seat for much of it. However, newbie Bozoma Saint John has also picked up quite a few fans with her electric personality. Now, the former Netflix CMO is opening up about losing her home to the California wildfires and if she will rebuild. Plus, she’s also discussing steering clear of the petty conflicts and more in a new interview.

For the most part, Bozoma has fit right in with the RHOBH ladies. Her closest bond has easily been with Dorit, as they quickly formed a connection in the first episode of the season. This has still been the case as of late, as Dorit recently helped Boz celebrate her birthday.

Fans of RHOBH have gotten to see Bozoma’s luxurious home in the 90210. Sadly, like many others, she recently lost it to the fires that devastated the Palisades region in California. While talking to the L.A. Times, Boz said she’s unsure about if she’ll rebuild the home that meant so much to her.

She said, “Man, I don’t even know. All those questions are in my head right now. There’s a part of me that is a fighter. I’m somebody who doesn’t take no for an answer, and it feels like somebody was trying to tell me no.”

Bozoma went on, “It’s like, ‘Well, screw you. I’m coming back.’ And then there’s the practical side of me, which is like, ‘Girl, you don’t want to go through this again.’ But where is safe? Where can I go where there will be a guarantee that nothing happens?”

Boz added, “And is that the kind of life I want to live? I don’t want to make decisions based on my fear of something tragic happening. And so my instinctual feeling is that I’ll rebuild.”

It hasn’t been all doom and gloom for Bozoma. She also spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the show. One of the most extensive questions they asked her was related to the drama in the series and how she has remained out of it. Specifically, the interviewer asked about her “appetite” for drama.

She responded, “My appetite or my patience? If people saw inside of boardrooms, they’d be shocked by the way people behave — the things they say, how sharp they can be to each other, how divisive and political they can be. I’m not shocked by the drama, but I am entertained by it.”

She then said, “The challenge is that I’m trying to figure out what exactly is going on, because I’m not a person who is just going to listen to one side of the story and go with it. I’m paying attention. So the look on my face is less bewilderment and me just trying to figure out what’s up. One thing that I kept coming back to during taping and during the season was that if everybody could just shut up for a second, and we actually talked about things in order, we could probably figure out the center of the issue pretty quickly.”

Boz continued, “But we’re not running it like a boardroom. I am not the chief. If anybody is willing to hear me, I can help to find a solution. But sometimes, people aren’t looking for the solution. They just want to yell.”

The interviewer then asked what position she plays within the group of ladies if she’s not the CEO. According to her, “I feel like the CEO in waiting, the one who’s been brought in, and nobody knows that I’m just here to get the lay of the land. Perhaps the CEO is going to retire. I’m just here, understanding how the company runs. That’s all I’m doing.”

Kathy Hilton giving her a lampshade has been decently talked about this season, and many people want to know what she did with it. When asked, she said, “Oh my God. I gave it to my cousin. My cousin Tina, who makes several appearances on the show, she wore it on her birthday trip to Bali and just posted a picture of it on Instagram. I cannot believe she used it. Ridiculous.”

Fans can watch Bozoma on RHOBH on Tuesday nights.
