Mary Cosby Slams Bronwyn and Britani: Two the ‘Newbies’ Can’t Beat Her in the RHOSLC Power Struggle

Mary Cosby has never been one to shy away from speaking her mind, and her latest comments on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are no exception. In a recent interview, Mary went in on the show’s newest cast members, Bronwyn Newport and Britani Bateman, claiming they don’t have what it takes to overthrow her in the ongoing battle for power within the RHOSLC universe.

The Real Housewives franchise is known for its fierce competition and power struggles, and Salt Lake City is no different. In the cutthroat world of the Housewives, alliances form and break in the blink of an eye, and everyone is constantly jockeying for the top spot. But according to Mary, neither Bronwyn nor Britani are the ones to dethrone her.

Mary had a lot to say about Bronwyn, particularly regarding her friendship with Lisa Barlow. While praising Bronwyn’s beauty and initial charm, Mary quickly turned the conversation to her behavior. “She’s very beautiful, yes, but she starts to weaken for me,” Mary explained. “For some reason, she is very demanding for Lisa’s friendship and validation, and for me, that’s a sign of weakness.”

Mary made it clear that, in her opinion, Bronwyn’s desperate need for Lisa’s approval makes her appear unstable and lacking in strength. “When you have other women willing to be your friend and you only want Lisa, that’s a red flag. It shows she’s not being honest with herself or with the others.” For Mary, Bronwyn’s lack of authenticity and willingness to play both sides put her at a disadvantage in the game of Housewives politics.

“That kind of behavior might get her into trouble,” Mary added. “You can’t just go back and forth and pretend to be someone you’re not—people will see through it.”

Mary didn’t hold back when it came to Britani either. In fact, she took it a step further, calling Britani a “mess” in no uncertain terms. “Britani’s a mess. M-E-S-S,” Mary said, clearly unimpressed by the new addition to the show. While she acknowledged that Britani’s drama-filled presence may be good for the show’s ratings, Mary wasn’t convinced by her substance.

“Yeah, she’s a mess for TV, and that’s fine for Bravo, but as far as being a powerful force in this group? No way,” Mary stated. “She’s just a spectacle, not someone who commands respect or attention in the way I do.”

Mary also took issue with Britani’s actions behind the scenes, particularly her decision to film the cast without their knowledge. “What was she planning on doing with that footage if she hadn’t been caught? Was she going to blackmail us? You just don’t know, especially with everything we’ve been through,” Mary commented, hinting at the shady undertones of the situation.

Despite the drama swirling around the new cast members, Mary made it clear that she remains the true force to be reckoned with on RHOSLC. She’s been a standout player in the series for a reason, and in her eyes, neither Bronwyn nor Britani has what it takes to challenge her for dominance.

“I don’t know why anyone would want to be friends with Lisa so badly,” Mary said with a smirk. “But I do know this: you have to play the game the right way, and both of them are too busy chasing after validation to really understand what’s going on.”

In Mary’s opinion, the key to thriving in the world of The Real Housewives isn’t about sucking up to the “queen bee” (Lisa Barlow, in this case), but rather about maintaining your authenticity and forming genuine relationships. This is something that, according to Mary, both Bronwyn and Britani are missing.

As RHOSLC continues to heat up, Mary Cosby’s position as one of the most powerful and unapologetic figures on the show remains secure. While the newbies may bring drama and intrigue, Mary’s experience and straightforward approach to the game are what make her a force to be reckoned with.

For Bronwyn and Britani, it looks like they have a long way to go before they can truly challenge Mary’s reign. Whether they can learn from Mary’s savvy and authenticity—or whether they’ll continue chasing fleeting friendships and validation—remains to be seen. But one thing’s for sure: The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City wouldn’t be the same without Mary Cosby, and no one is taking her spot anytime soon.
