Heather Gay from RHOSLC Discusses Bronwyn Newport’s ‘Double Dealing’ and Her Thoughts on Lisa Barlow as the Franchise’s ‘Villain’

On Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Heather Gay discussed RHOSLC newbie Bronwyn Newport “playing both sides.” She also revealed whether Lisa Barlow is the franchise’s true “villain.”

RHOSLC OG Heather Gay has been suspicious of newbie Bronwyn Newport since she appeared on the scene at the start of season 5.

Earlier this season, Heather called out Bronwyn for being “Team f–king Lisa [Barlow]” and “saying horrible things about Whitney [Rose]” in one instance and then being “supportive of Whitney” in another.

The mom of three then accused Bronwyn of not only being “poisonous” but also “being two-faced to Lisa and me and two-faced to Whitney.”

Naturally, the drama between Heather and Bronwyn was addressed during Heather’s recent visit to the Bravo Clubhouse.

“I knew Bronwyn socially a little bit, and I’d met her before. I like Bronwyn. I get her. She’s not, like, 100 percent my cup of tea, but I appreciate so many things about her and want to get to know her more, but I just really got off on the wrong foot,” Heather explained on the WWHL: After Show.

“When Whitney said she loved her and was so supportive of her, I was like, ‘Either I’m reading it wrong, or she’s playing both sides,’” Heather added.

Heather then hinted that viewers’ opinions on Bronwyn may shift dramatically as the season continues. A Watch What Happens Live poll revealed that viewers are currently more Team Bronwyn than Team Heather.

Heather teased, “Wait wait, dear viewers, just wait. Wait and see.”

She also addressed Whitney’s claim that Lisa Barlow has always been the true villain of RHOSLC.

While Heather loves her cousin and has plenty of drama with Lisa, she’s unsure about Whitney’s claim.

“Think of our villains. We’ve had some notorious villains,” she noted.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
