Lisa Barlow is absolutely buzzing to have newbie Bronwyn Newport on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast in season 5 episode 2. The all-new episodes dropping this fall see Heather Gay, Angie Katsanevas, and co mingling with more newcomers than just Brownwyn. Britani Bateman and Meili Workman also join RHOSLC.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 has a lot of drama in store for viewers. While Heather adjusts to Bronwyn being in the cast as a full-time Real Housewife, Bravo fans are also getting acquainted with two new ‘friends of’ – Britani and Meili. And, it turns out one of them has some connections to the super-famous.

Britani Bateman joins RHOSLC
While Bronwyn wasn’t afraid to make an entrance wearing a huge heart-shaped shawl to Lisa Barlow‘s Galentines party in episode 1, Britani’s arrival was slightly more low-key.
Britani appears on the show as Heather’s friend and Lisa seems to be very pleased to meet her at the big bash.
The RHOSLC newbie was born in Utah, raised in California, and is a mom of two daughters.
She’s no stranger to ‘lights, camera action’ as she’s an actress, model, and singer, per her Bravo bio.
The reality TV star toured with her musical family as a young girl.
However, Britani’s career looks different these days as her bio reads: “Currently, she is the owner of PURE Productions and works in real estate development.”

RHOSLC star’s Osmond relationship
During Britani’s first moments on RHOSLC, fans see her navigating life as a single woman.
She admits to being in a “hamster wheel” type relationship with Jared Osmond. According to Bravo’s Daily Dish, the two have broken up at least “16 times.”
During the RHOSLC season 5 premiere, Heather says:
“I’ve known Britani for a few years, we’ve seen each other at events and have some mutual friends. She’s a messed-up Mormon… has been divorced, has been through the wringer…
“She’s dating Jared Osmond as in Osmond Osmond, the nephew of Donny and Marie, which in Mormon culture is the equivalent of dating Prince Harry. Until today.”
Per Jared Osmond’s Instagram page, he and Britani appear to be “off” at the time of writing as no snaps of the pair look to have been posted lately.
He smiles alongside his Uncle Donny in a snap from March, so it appears he’s close with his mega-famous family.
