Bethenny Frankel has a message for the haters.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum, 53, fired back at critics of her recent runway walk in theL’Oréal Paris’ star-studded Le Défilé Walk Your Worth Paris fashion show. Along with a black minidress, Frankel wore sky-high platform heels which caused her to walk with a marching motion.
Many social media users called attention to the unconventional walk, commenting things like, “The walk was not good. Sorry,” and “Don’t understand the walk at all…”
Under a video Frankel posted of her Monday, Sept. 23 performance, one user commented, “That walk. What the…….” In a response video, the reality star addressed the criticism, saying that her walk was entirely intentional.
“I’m gonna tell you ‘what the,'” she began in the clip shared late Monday night. “I chose those shoes. L’Oréal said, ‘You can pick anything you want’ and I chose those shoes because I wanted to be like a giraffe with elongated legs. Like one of those long-legged creatures that walks a runway and looks like they’re not even the same species. And I loved it.”

The star captioned the post, “Do WHAT THE F you want to do… That’s what I do. @lorealparis #worthit #supermodel #ledefileloreal #lorealparis #pfw”
“That’s what the show was about,” she continued in the video. “It was about not being perfect, about being perfectly imperfect and doing what you want to do.”
Frankel also explained that the L’Oréal show (which also featured stars like Andie MacDowell, Kendall Jenner, and new spokeswoman Cara Delevingne) was “about individuality and it was about every different culture and fashion and being worth it.”
Fans came to Frankel’s support in the comment section of the clip.
“No way!!! It looked like it was totally your element!!” one user wrote. “Wherever and whatever you do, you just steal the show! Period. 🔥♥️”
