Alexis Bellino Claims Bravo Execs Support Her Poor Treatment of Shannon Beador
Alexis Bellino opened up about the recent drama surrounding her on The Real Housewives of Orange County, particularly regarding her interactions with Shannon Beador, the ex of her fiancé John Janssen.
Facing scrutiny over her treatment of Shannon, Alexis revealed how she navigates the challenges of online hate and hinted at exciting wedding plans in a candid discussion on the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast.

Amidst the backlash, Alexis shared that network executives, including Andy Cohen, have reached out to support her and John.
“Andy Cohen’s been amazing,” she expressed, noting the encouragement she received from Bravo. “A lot of Bravo execs have reached out and been very supportive, so it’s nice.”
Alexis admitted the ongoing negativity online has taken a toll.
“It’s been really hard,” she revealed, explaining that she and John have chosen to distance themselves from social media. “We mostly stay off social media, and I’m not letting people comment on posts.”
Unseen Footage and Emotional Moments
Reflecting on the season, Alexis revealed that many significant moments were left on the cutting room floor.
“There’s a lot of things not shown on the show,” she said. “I cried three times on camera with my castmates over the recent passing of my mom.”
When asked about specific scenes she wished had aired, Alexis had a lot to say.
“There’s one every single episode, that I could name. I mean, I could be here for an hour, and they would critically change the audience’s viewpoint of me,” she explained. “I feel like everyone is poor Shannon and no one is even considering my [side].”
Confrontation with Shannon Beador
In a revealing moment, Alexis recounted her first confrontation with Shannon during the season. She claimed Shannon “railed” at her for “25 to 30 minutes,” discussing various grievances, which was ultimately omitted from the show. As a result, Alexis felt painted as the “villain” when she clapped back.
Reflecting on her actions, Alexis admitted it was a “mistake” to bring up the controversial video of Shannon from the night of her DUI.
“A lot of the time that you see me talking about John or Shannon, it’s because I’m being prodded [and] pushed to talk about it even though I don’t want to mention it,” she said. “That night that I did mention the videos, it was late. We’d been filming all day long. I was tired. And his name and her name just kept coming up … I was fed up.”
Accountability and Privacy
Alexis emphasized her belief that accountability is essential. “Everybody’s in support of Shannon, and I’m like, ‘Do I need to show the effing videos?’” she recalled. However, she clarified that John has sole custody of the footage and has no intentions of sharing it publicly unless Shannon chooses to view it with them.
Moreover, Alexis revealed that Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow were already aware of the videos, and she had sought their advice on how to navigate filming with Shannon.
“I didn’t find out about the videos until after I started filming,” she shared. “I don’t know if I would have signed on if I knew about it before.”
Future Plans and Wedding Details
Looking ahead, Alexis mentioned her thoughts on possibly returning to the show in a different capacity. While she isn’t sure if she’d accept a full-time role again, she firmly stated that she would “never” take on a “friend role” again. “I hope viewers will see more of the ‘truth’ as the season progresses,” she said.
On a more personal note, Alexis shared exciting news about her upcoming wedding to John. She revealed that their ceremony would be “small” and “not conventional,” with a potential date set for August 2025. Although they haven’t locked down a venue yet, the couple began discussing marriage just a few months into their relationship.
