Katie Ginella, a newcomer to the Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC), is standing firm on her claim against fellow cast member Heather Dubrow. She claims that Dubrow staged a paparazzi photo shoot with her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, to preserve her public image amid rumors of marital strife. In a recent interview, Ginella hinted at more evidence that could back her accusations.
During a guest appearance on the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast by Page Six on September 16, 2024, Katie discussed the ongoing drama with Heather Dubrow. She revealed that she had shared a text from a friend in Season 18 of RHOC, which allegedly confirmed the accusations against Dubrow.

“There is more,” Katie Ginella said in the interview, referring to additional evidence she claims to have. She and her husband, Matt Ginella, have been in the media industry for two decades and trust the source, who works for a well-known photo agency. According to Katie, the individual replied “yes” when asked if Dubrow had organized the paparazzi shoot herself.
However, Ginella chose not to release further details to protect her source.
“I’m not going to share our personal text because I respect his job, and I respect his position,” she explained.
“I guess it’s going to look like that’s not a good enough receipt, but I’m going to be respectful to a friend, a dear friend.”
The speculations about Heather Dubrow’s alleged involvement with the paparazzi stemmed from an incident in 2022. Amid rumors that the couple was experiencing tension in their marriage due to alleged cheating, the couple was photographed at Disneyland.
Heather and Terry Dubrow both dismissed the infidelity allegations. However, the paparazzi photos fueled speculation that the couple was trying to portray a united front.
The controversy erupted during RHOC Season 17 when Ginella was not part of the show. Ginella brought up her supposed evidence during her debut on the reality show in Season 18. Since then, she has been at odds with Heather Dubrow, who has repeatedly denied arranging a paparazzi shoot.
“Heather said, ‘I didn’t call, I didn’t call,'” Ginella told the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast.
“Well, that doesn’t mean your assistant or a friend [didn’t]. It’s pretty obvious.”
Katie Ginella also suggested that Dubrow’s denial may be based on semantics, hinting that someone close to Heather may have made the arrangements instead.
As of now, there is no reconciliation between the two RHOC stars. Katie confirmed that she and Heather are not on speaking terms, and her paparazzi source has chosen to stay out of the drama as it unfolds on-screen.
“They kind of just disengage,” she said, adding, “But I do know that there’s more.”
As the season progresses, it is yet to be seen whether Ginella will present further proof to back her claims or whether the dispute will escalate during the upcoming reunion episodes.
