Lisa Barlow claps back at “pathetic” and “desperate” Monica Garcia’s claims that production wanted her back for season 5 of RHOSLC

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City OG Lisa Barlow responded to Monica Garcia’s claims that her former co-stars opened several investigations against her and prevented her from returning for season 5 despite production wanting her back.

“I can’t imagine being so pathetic and desperate I can’t move on,” Lisa Barlow shared on Twitter.

This comment sparked a response from Monica Garcia, who fired back: “I can’t imagine being so pathetic and threatened that I boss networks around.”

“Mad because you know it’s true. You really have much bigger things to worry about. I can think of 500,000 other things right off the top of my head,” she added.

The mom of two then denied claims that she and co-star Heather Gay gave production ultimatums about casting and filming for season 5.

“Girl, I do love you, but you can’t give production ultimatums… You and Heather doing that will singlehandedly ruin the show. You show up and work,” an RHOSLC fan shared on Twitter.

“I would never have to,” Lisa wrote.

As previously reported, Monica Garcia claimed that two of her former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City co-stars threatened to quit if Bravo brought her back for season 5.

“Bravo and production have gotten a lot of sh-t for not inviting me back. It was not their fault and they actually tried to bring me back several, several times. They actually tried to bring me in toward the end of the season for season five, and you can thank a couple of motherf-ckers for threatening to quit if Bravo brought me back,” the 40-year-old claimed, according to a clip shared by the Salty Housewives account on Instagram.

She continued, “So I wanna shout out Bravo for having my back always. They are not the ones who should be catching the heat, and we all know who should be. And if you don’t know, you will real soon on the podcast.”

Monica then alleged that her former co-stars “opened several investigations against me with the network [and] with Warner Brothers.”

“I had to go through and endure for like six-month-long investigations. People have no idea,” she said while tearing up. “[There were] really disgusting allegations and terrible sh-t.”

The season 5 trailer is expected to drop any day now.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will return for season 5 in late 2024.
