After only dating for nine months, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY stars Alexis Bellino and John Janssen are engaged.
While some might think they’re moving too fast, Bellino and Janssen are focused on keeping Christ at the center and know the timing is perfect for them.
“On Cloud 9. Celebrating 9 months of love and laughter, and looking forward to my forever with you,” Bellino shared on Instagram. “Every moment together has been a gift. I am so in love with you and the beautiful life we’re building together with our kids. And the answer is 100000000% yes.”
She concluded the post with 1 Corinthians 13:13: “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
A representative for the couple told PEOPLE, “John & Alexis are happily engaged, and look forward to their long future together as husband and wife.”
Bellino post another video on her Instagram page that showcased the area where Janssen popped the question.
“Our 9 month anniversary was already perfection but became even more perfect when @johnwjanssen proposed last night,” she wrote. “My hair was frizzy, my nails are NOT DONE!!!! And my outfit was sub par. BUT the moment was pure perfection, in the most exclusive, secluded, intimate, loving way.”
The couple have not been quiet about their love for one another. This past December, Janssen gave Bellino a promise ring.
“Words cannot. Actions do,” Bellino captioned a photo of the ring on Instagram. “I will no longer feel guilty. I will not apologize. Love will create its own story. I love you Johnny J.”
Faith is a priority for Bellino — her Instagram bio proclaims “God 1st” — and she’ll be bringing that faith with her into her marriage.
