Vicki gives fans sepsis update

In August, Vicki explained on her podcast, My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast, how she endured “deadly sepsis” that left her hospitalized with a 10 per cent survival rate.

During what the TV star described as a “mini-stroke,” Vicki’s partner Michael, came home to find her in the bathtub. She says she “could’ve died” if she hadn’t had “guardian angels” watching over her during the health scare.

According to her partner, Vicki was “…put on antibiotics, steroids, and everything under the sun.”

Now, she has an update for her concerned fans.

Vicki is “sleeping 15 to 20 hours a day” and “cries all the time.”

She explains: “I still have sepsis, I still have pneumonia, my pneumonia has settled in my right lung so when I try to breathe in it’s very difficult.”

The RHOC star is on a steroid inhaler and adds how she’s been spending time at her condo in Mexico.

RHOC star is keeping busy

Despite being advised to rest up as much as possible, Vicki is a go-getter and there’s no slowing her down.

After three months away from Mexico, the reality star returned to her condo in Puerto Vallarta to renovate it.

She excitedly tells her podcast fans how her kitchen is almost finished, as well as confirming another house she’s been working on for two years is also nearly complete.

Vicki also tells her co-host Christian Gray Snow how she’s “scheduled to go to Phoenix for what’s called The Journey which is my insurance conference that I go and learn… now I don’t know how much I’m going to learn because I can’t even write my name right now… it’s very hard… so Michael wants me to go back home, which I probably will. Sleeping is the most important thing right now.”

Christian tells her: “You’re dying to get back to your natural state but your body is saying ‘the only way we can do that is if we get caught up with the stress that I just dealt with’ through sleeping.”
