Considering the fact Meredith Marks has a passion for jewelry (and a namesake jewelry line), her husband, Seth Marks, definitely needed to pull out all the stops when he gave her rings on their engagement and wedding days.
Lucky for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member, it appears the businessman was up to the task, gifting Meredith a jaw-dropping cushion-cut diamond ring with a silver band.
While we have to give credit to Seth for the beautiful gesture, it turns out Meredith had a hand in the process, putting her jewelry obsession to the test by designing her engagement ring herself.
In a November 2021 interview with Only Natural Diamonds, Meredith revealed the details. “The first pieces that I designed for myself—aside from my engagement ring—were my South Sea pearl and diamond earrings,” she shared with the publication. Meredith noted that those diamond earrings, like her engagement ring, were also a gift from Seth. “But I designed them,” she was sure to point out.
Moreover, as you can see in the video above, the couple talks about Meredith wearing her ring again after she and Seth were dealing with some marital issues.
“You wearing a wedding ring today, or did you forget?” Seth jokes, as Meredith proudly brings out her left hand to show off her incredible, massive sparkler.
Pleased, Seth remarks, “You’re looking good, girl! Wanna have a party tonight?”

Meredith Marks shares the details of her jewelry business
In addition to flaunting her engagement and wedding rings, Meredith loves to show off her other jewelry obsessions, often rocking pieces from her namesake line. “I probably wear a little bit more statement jewelry than the average person on a day-to-day basis, but I’m a jewelry designer and I love diamonds,” she shared in her interview with Only Natural Diamonds.
In 2021, Meredith spoke with BravoTV.com to discuss the process behind her jewelry line, sharing how all of her pieces “are inspired from all aspects” of her life.
Additionally, when Meredith stopped by Bravo HQ in September 2023, she opened up about a deeply personal story that propelled her into the sphere of jewelry design.
“I started undergrad as a fine arts major and then I switched because I didn’t know what I would really end up doing for a living in the fine arts space,” she shared, adding that she ultimately switched to business school and opened a “progressive gym” in Chicago with Seth.
Then, one morning, while dropping off her oldest son, Reid at school, she had a traumatic experience that changed the course of her life.
“I was mugged one morning […] on a very safe street and 9 a.m. where you think that would never happen,” she said. “It was a very aggressive situation and I was somewhat traumatized and kind of questioning everything in life. And I thought, you know what? I don’t want to do anything I’m doing.”
The Utah mom shared that after joining her husband on a business trip to India and Hong Kong, she finally realized her true calling. “I took classes at the GIA, Gemological Institute of America, and dove in headfirst,” she revealed.
