RHONJ’s Rachel Fuda Remembers ‘Beloved’ Nonna Who Was ‘Like a Mother’

Rachel Fuda is sadly mourning the loss of her grandmother this August. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star shares a heartwrenching social media post breaking the news to her fans. Though a relative newbie to RHONJ, Rachel and her husband, John Fuda, have quickly become stand-out stars on the dramatic series.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast knows of heartbreak and loss all too well. Bravo star Rachel Fuda takes to Instagram this summer to share that her beloved Nonna has passed away. The expectant mother shares the news with a “heavy heart” and says her grandmother was a “beloved matriarch.”

Rachel’s Nonna passes away

Although the Fuda family was just celebrating Rachel and John’s pregnancy announcement, they’re now in mourning following the loss of their Nonna.



In Rachel’s tribute post to her late grandmother, she writes of how “grateful” she feels to have “…received more than 30 years of her wisdom, courage, and love.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star says her Nonna “was like a mother” to her adding: “I am forever grateful for our time together.”

RHONJ star thanks her grandmother

As Rachel deals with the loss of her grandmother, she shares heartfelt words and says the family will “prepare to come together to celebrate her incredible life…”.

Rachel and John Fuda are known for being a strong couple on RHONJ and it appears the mom of three is continuing to show strength even in the toughest of times.



She sheds light on how “getting to share her Nonna with the world,” was one of her “greatest gifts” adding: “I always smiled when someone asked about Nonna, or mentioned how much they enjoyed her.”

Rachel’s post continues:

“Her stories, her incredible sense of humor, and her devotion to our family’s traditions will forever be etched in our hearts… Thank you, my incredible Nonna, for the countless moments of joy and the strength you have given us. You will be dearly missed and forever remembered.”

Tributes pour in for the reality TV star’s grandmother. RHONJ’s Margaret Josephs writes in the post’s comments: “What a beautiful tribute for the amazing woman Nonna was. She lit up every room she entered. So heartbroken for you all, Sending much love and prayers.”
