The trailer for season 5 of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” has been released. Bravo YouTube Channel on August 19and newcomers Bronwyn Newport have something to say
Newport shared a trailer for her Instagram Story on August 19added of her reaction to co-star Heather Gay’s confession, “Bronwyn is not here to make friends, and I don’t believe her.”
“Yes, I am always here (to make friends). But I will do my best (especially with my appearance) either for you OR against you, your choice…” Newport wrote in his story.
RHOSLC season 5 also has an air date set, with the first episode set to air on Bravo on Wednesday, September 18 at 9 p.m. ET.
Who is Bronwyn Newport, the new RHOSLC joiner?
Newport is the only new RHOSLC housewife for season 5, along with Gay, Lisa Barlow, Angie Katsanevas, Meredith Marks and Whitney Rose, with Mary Cosby returning full-time. Britani Bateman and Meili Workman will also join as Friends of the Housewives.
Newport is joining the RHOSLC friend group through Barlow, who explains in the trailer, “Bronwyn is everything you could want in a friend. She’s funny, she’s witty, she has the best wardrobe.”
According to her official biography on BravoTV.com“Bronwyn Newport is passionate about high fashion, art, and first-class living. Raised a Mormon, Bronwyn was expelled from the church when she became pregnant while attending BYU. While raising her daughter Gwen as a single mother, she worked in finance before marrying Todd, who is 26 years her senior. Although she and Lisa have been friends for years, she quickly realizes that her old friend may not be as supportive as she would like.”
Newport posted another slide to her Instagram story on August 19, correcting the record about her expulsion from the Mormon church. “Oh wait, whoa! I was kicked out of BYU but not expelled! I was raised Mormon, and no longer go, but that’s my choice!”

A fan shared the RHOSLC trailer (which includes a Lisa Barlow-themed lunch, a rift between Marks and Cosby after years of friendship, and an argument between Barlow and Whitney’s husband Justin Rose after Barlow tells him Whitney is a liar) on Bravo. Reddit discussion pageand other fans commented in the comments section about their reactions to the upcoming season.

“What I like about SLC is that there are no alliances. Friendships change with the seasons.
