Teddi Mellencamp isn’t worried about reclaiming her diamond, and she also discussed why Bethenny Frankel “bugs” her.
During a recent Instagram Q&A, a fan asked the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum why she disliked Bethenny Frankel, 53, so much.
“I don’t dislike Bethenny so much. She just bugs me. But you know what? I bug 90% of the people so it is what it is,” Teddi replied.
Then, after admitting Bethenny was “never overtly b*tchy to me,” she revealed she didn’t have the best experience with the Real Housewives of New York City alum.
“I mean, she wasn’t super nice the time I met her,” Teddi stated.
Also during the Q&A, the 43-year-old podcast host told her fans and followers that she was okay with not returning to the RHOBH series as she admitted to having her sights set on “another show.” She also spoke of buying a new home in Orange County.
“I’m finally in a place where I’m really not worried about it,” Teddi told her online audience of a return to RHOBH on August 6. “I’m happy about the fact that I make more money doing a podcast 15 steps from my bed. So whatever happens happens, but I would love to be on another show in some capacity at some point because more money is good.”
Although Teddi and her husband, Edwin Arroyave, 47, sold their home in Orange County after Teddi filmed a cameo for The Real Housewives of Orange County, Teddi said they only did so because the market was hot, and she suggested that a new home was in their future.
“We had it for over 10 years and we were just curious. We put it on the market to see what would happen, and we got over asking right away, so it would’ve been a silly financial decision to not sell it, but I have a pretty sneaky suspicion that won’t be the last of us owning a home in Orange County,” she shared, fueling rumors of her possible addition to the RHOC cast.
As she potentially considers a role on RHOC, Teddi is focused on Two Ts in a Pod, her shared podcast with Tamra Judge, 56, as Alexia Echevarria, 57, takes over for her co-host’s recapping responsibilities amid her RHOC run.
“If you are a full-time housewife you cannot podcast about the current season that you’re on, so that is why Tamra does not recap [RHOC] and I do it with Alexia,” Teddi explained of Tamra’s contact with Bravo. “Even though [Alexia]’s a current housewife on [The Real Housewives of Miami], she is not a current housewife on [RHOC], so she can share her hot takes and opinions.”
