Bethenny Frankel seems to have struck up a romance with German artist Niclas Castello.
Just months after the 53-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum split from boyfriend Paul Bernon, 45, following a six-year romance that saw them getting engaged in 2021, Bethenny stepped out with Niclas, 46, and her daughter, 14-year-old Bryn Casey Hoppy, for a day at the beach in Saint Tropez.
In photos shared by the Daily Mail on July 26, Bethenny and Niclas “looked flirty” as they laughed together and enjoyed time in the water. During the outing, Bethenny was sporting an orange one-piece with a wide-brimmed hat, gold necklace, and bracelets. Niclas wore a green Knicks baseball cap and blue and white swim shorts.
According to the outlet, Niclas married Sylvie Meis, 46, who is known as the “Dutch Victoria Beckham,” in September 2020, and they split in 2023. Meanwhile, Bethenny began dating Paul in 2018 and announced their breakup earlier this year, saying that she “initiated” the split because she “wasn’t happy.”
Following the breakup, Paul began dating Olivia Culpo‘s older sister, Aurora Culpo, 35, but they split in early July after their romance was made public.

After the reveal of Paul’s relationship with Aurora, Bethenny confirmed their breakup on her podcast, Just B With Bethenny Frankel, as she admitted that hearing Aurora share details about their romance was “gutting.”
“Hearing about your ex-fiancé committing to another woman shortly thereafter on their first date, and then being inside their relationship hearing about their sex and their gifts and meeting each other’s kids and the level of commitment,” Bethenny recalled. “It was gutting.”
In response to Bethenny announcing her and Paul’s breakup, Aurora lashed out at the former RHONY cast member on her own podcast, Barely Filtered, saying, “PSA guys: It’s not a good look to announce the breakup of your ex-boyfriend with his new girlfriend. It’s not your story to tell, but she did.”
Bethenny was previously married to Jason Hoppy, the father of her daughter Bryn.
