RHONY’s Erin Lichy Reveals Her Secret to Thriving: Embracing Organized Chaos!

Season 14 of Real Housewives of New York brought in Erin Lichy. Erin is a busy New York real estate professional who runs her own interior design firm, HomeGirl, and just recently launched a mezcal brand, Mezalum. But being busy is nothing new to her, and she thrives in “organized chaos.”

This is a good thing because she’s not only busy with her businesses and reality TV but also a mom of three. She shares kids Levi, Layla, and Elijah with her husband, Abraham Lichy. Everyone knows what a handful children can be.

Balancing act

But Erin is managing just fine. She spoke to In Touch and shared, “It’s hard, but it’s manageable for me. I am one of those people who thrive in organized chaos.”

And it’s not just that personality trait that’s helping her cope. She also added, “I have ADD. I know it sounds cheesy, but it’s a gift because my brain works in a million ways. I run multiple businesses on top of three kids.”

She finished off by saying, “I can handle a lot.”

And she doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon. Between her businesses and her family, the housewife is happy to be returning for RHONY. The entire rebooted cast of RHNOY is returning, along with new faces such as Rebecca Minkoff and Racquel Chevremont.

All about RHONY

Erin had a lot of fun shooting RHONY and is looking forward to the new season. While adjusting to having cameras in her life was a bit challenging, she’s come around to it.

“It was natural to adjust to the cameras,” she shared. “After the show aired is when it got more challenging and more — for lack of a better word — real.”

After RHONY aired, people would recognize her on the street, and she realized she had to be more mindful of her surroundings and her actions because people were watching. “I was flying home from Tulum and put my legs up for two seconds and someone was like, ‘She’s not wearing shoes on the plane!’ It was in the New York Post. I can’t live my life without people watching.”

This level of recognition is par for the course for reality TV stars, though. And despite the craziness of being on RHONY, it fits in with Erin’s organized chaos life. Even her husband and children are supportive.

“My oldest is into it,” Erin shared. “He’s like, ‘Mic me up, I want to be on!’”

And when asked what fans can look forward to in season 15, Erin is keeping mum. She just said that it’s going to be a fun season.
