Erin Lichy Plans Total Digital Detox After RHONY Filming Ends

There’s no better feeling than getting off work, turning off your phone, and then sinking into the couch, pretending like none of it ever happened until you have to return and do it all over again. Apparently, that same situation is being felt by Erin Lichy of Real Housewives of New York. Season 15 just wrapped filming, and Erin recently said she’s ready to go off the grid for a little bit. It might be the most relatable thing she’s ever said.

Erin dished about Season 15 with Us Weekly. Previously, she admitted that the season started “a little rocky.” Now, it sounds like she needs some rest and recovery to shake it all off.

“I [will] go out to the Hamptons and immediately disconnect. I turn off my phone,” Erin teased. “This week I’m working [in Manhattan] and I go out tomorrow morning and I will disconnect.”

The entire cast from the RHONY reboot is set to return for the upcoming season. Plus, there are a couple of new cast members joining the fun with Racquel Chevremont joining as a full-time Housewife in addition to Rebecca Minkoff joining in a part-time capacity. All of that new blood had the RHONY ladies feeling chaotic, which is much needed after the snorefest that was Season 14.

“I can say it’s explosive and dramatic,” Erin teased. “I need a break mentally after all of that.”

Erin talked about Season 15 with the same despair as a veteran talking about a war. In actuality, they’re probably still arguing about cheese. Either way, she eventually admitted that the whole experience was fun, even if it drained her mentally.

“I really enjoy filming and I really enjoy it when we’re having fun and we’re in a good group, but I don’t enjoy it when things get dirty,” Erin explained.

Season 15 of Real Housewives of New York is coming soon, but a premiere date hasn’t been confirmed.
