No one could have predicted that leaving RHOBH would actually help skyrocket Lisa’s career even further. The actress was famous well beforehand for her roles in Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place. She also earned several Emmy nominations for her work as a talk show host on Soap Talk. But leaving Real Housewives gave her a boost in several places.
Lisa has recently starred in several big projects. She was in American Horror Story and was George Lopez’s love interest on his sitcom. Lisa also channeled her villain status and starred in a Lifetime movie called Mommy Meanest. While the acting roles are heating up, so is her role in the fashion world.
She is now walking the catwalk for some of the biggest couture shows in Paris. Lisa did a modeling campaign for Marc Jacobs and made the cover of Cosmopolitan. So it makes sense that Lisa continues to make a dramatic entrance whether she is on the catwalk or not.
Daily Mail reported on Lisa’s current success and her thoughts on the matter. Lisa said, “That’s what’s so interesting is I never would’ve thought that this would be happening in my life, and in my career at 60. But I think there’s a reason for it. I’m out here doing this to show people that you can do it. That we don’t stop at 60, that you can keep going.”
Lisa added, “I think I’m unstoppable. I think I can do pretty much whatever I want to do. And I think everybody is unstoppable, and everyone can do what they want to do. You just got to believe it, manifest it, and say, ‘I’m going to do this.’”
Who knew Lisa was also a life coach? Regardless, it seems Lisa will be in the fashion world for quite some time. And we can’t wait to see what looks she serves next.
