RHONJ’s Staten Island Star Danielle Cabral Breaks Silence on Shocking Fight and Suspension

Danielle Cabral, a star of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and former Staten Islander, has shared an update on social media about the physical brawl between her and co-star Jennifer Aydin that landed both of them in suspension from the popular reality show.

Cabral, 38, posted on Instagram about the June 23 RHONJ episode, saying: “For a year, we sat back in silence as the lies spread like wildfire. Hit after hit – lie after lie. But we held onto our truth and knew our day was coming.

“Violence is never the answer. However, in all fairness, I did say the LAST person you wanna mess with is meeeeeeeee.”

The episode showed the two housewives coming to physical blows with one another while enjoying a Tulum-themed party. “Trust me when I tell you, Tulum was the tip of the iceberg…@bravotv,” Cabral added.

According to E! News, Cabral and Aydin argued at the party over their hairdressers, with a furious Cabral hurling insults at Aydin, saying: “You’re dirty. Everybody was right about you. You’re a piece of s–t. I see you, you’re a f–king dirtbag.”

The shocking verbal exchange culminated in Aydin pushing Cabral, to which Cabral reacted with a smashing of a plastic cup in Aydin’s face, leaving the other RHONJ stars in disbelief as the fight was broken up.

Cabral seems to have no regrets about her actions, either, adding, “‘The lies are always loud. The truth is always silent.’ Silence is powerful.”

Cabral and Aydin were suspended over the shocking Sept. 21 incident. A source told Us Magazine: “Bravo released new rules about physical altercations the day after the fight,” and the rest of the RHONJ continued filming the reality show the rest of the month. The co-stars returned to the show after an investigation of the altercation.

RHONJ airs Sundays on Bravo at 8 p.m. EST.

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” franchise isn’t Danielle Cabral’s first reality TV rodeo. She has also appeared in a similarly popular series in 2006: MTV’s “True Life.” Her episode — titled “True Life: I’m a Staten Island Girl,” which followed Cabral on her journey to become an actress.

Cabral, who at the time went by her maiden name DiPietro, also appeared on a followup “True Life” episode in 2008.

The former Staten Islander — who premiered in the 13th season of RHONJ in Feb. 2023 — now calls Sayreville, N.J. home with her husband, Nathan, and their children, Valentina, 6, and Dominic, 9.

A native of both Westerleigh and Pleasant Plains, she played varsity basketball at Susan Wagner High School, even scoring 1,000 points.

“You get to see my athletic side this season on the show,” said Cabral in an exclusive interview with the Advance/SILive.com. “I moved to Sayreville, New Jersey in 2012 when I married my husband, Nathan. Our town is such a great place to raise our children. I love New Jersey!”
