Teddi Mellencamp Spills on RHOBH Exit, Throws Shade, and Criticizes Denise Richards’ New Show

Filming is underway for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. There have been leaked photos of the cast, and some have even revealed potentially heated moments. However, RHOBH alum Teddi Mellencamp recently opened up about her time on the show and shared that she’ll probably never return.  Plus, she’s a bit disappointed in Denise Richards‘ upcoming show coming to E!

Fans will recall that Teddi joined the cast of RHOBH in its eighth season and remained through its 10th year in 2020. However, she was fired by the network. It has been said that the reason was that the higher-ups were unhappy with her performance on the show. Now, she hosts two podcasts, Two Ts In A Pod with Tamra Judge and Popping Off with Emily Simpson.

According to Heavy, Teddi recently opened up on Two Ts In A Pod about RHOBH and if she would ever return. She started by saying,“I don’t think I would ever come back to ‘Beverly Hills.’Because I – there’s no self-deprecation in ‘Beverly Hills.’ And that’s a huge part of who I am. It’s making fun of myself.”

She goes on to call RHOBH “stuffy” and said that her former co-stars told her to refrain from self-deprecating remarks.

Teddi recalled that they’d say things like, “’ Teddi, don’t say that they’re going to use that.’ Like, it doesn’t make it fun.”

However, she revealed that she did enjoy filming for the upcoming season of RHOC with Tamra and found it to be a much different environment.

According to Teddi, “I filmed with Tamra once this season, and I said to her afterward — and I filmed over three seasons of ‘Beverly Hills’ — I said to Tamra, ‘The most fun I had filming this show, was doing that episode of Orange County.”

In other news, Reality Tea recently caught wind of Teddi’s choice of words for Denise and her new show. While on Two Ts In A Pod, Teddi and Tamra covered the news of Denise’s new show, which will air on E! According to Teddi,“I’m irritated.

She continues, “This is where my issue lies with all of this Denise Richards stuff. The major fight with Denise on my last season was Denise never wanted to talk about threesomes or the kids. Or anything. ‘We’re off limits, blah, blah, blah.”

However, she then said that she is rooting for Denise and hopes the show goes well. It’s also important to point out that, based on the press release, Denise’s new show will be more comedic and family-oriented. Plus, she’s a producer on it, so she has more carte blanche over what they film than she did on RHOBH
