They say one man’s trash is another man’s treasure – especially when it’s from the closet of Jenna Lyons.
In a new video, TikTok creator Janna Hagey revealed that she recently bought a Balenciaga City bag that once belonged to The Real Housewives of New York star, and found a handful of Lyons’s old belongings – including a J.Crew corporate ID card.
Lyons, who served as the executive creative director and president of J.Crew from 2010 to 2017, recently held a stoop sale in New York City, where she sold tons of iconic pieces from her closet.
Hagey was lucky enough to get her hands on a bag from the sale, and showed viewers what was left behind in a pocket deep inside the purse she bought for $150.
‘I buy this OG Balenciaga from the Jenna Lyons closet sale last week, and I can tell it was her daily driver because it’s quite worn, but it’s freaking awesome,’ she began.

‘I buy this OG Balenciaga from the Jenna Lyons closet sale last week, and I can tell it was her daily driver because it’s quite worn, but it’s freaking awesome,’ Hagey said of Lyons’ bag
‘Anyway, I’m reconfiguring some stuff in it after I had been using it for a few days, and I open this pocket, which I never opened until this morning, and can we please have a moment for it being filled with stuff?’ she continued.
Hagey began to pull out a handful of Lyons’ old things – her old J.Crew ID card, a set of keys, a mechanical pencil, a packet of Advil, a cough drop wrapper and a phone number for a woman named Tammy scribbled on a strip of paper.
‘I was shook,’ Hagey admitted.
She then showed Lyons’s former J.Crew ID card to the camera once more, and avowed that she thought it needed to be framed.
In the comments section of her video, many viewers were equally as shook as Hagey to have discovered what the Bravo star had left behind.
‘THATS A RELIC KEEP IT FOREVER FASHION HISTORY,’ one person wrote.
Another agreed, ‘This is an absolute treasure! You’re like a fashion historian with artifacts now.’

Others, however, urged her to give the items back to Lyons herself – but Hagey already had that covered.
In a follow-up TikTok video, she revealed that she got a DM from the J.Crew legend herself.
‘Oh my God!!!’ Lyons wrote to her. ‘Thanks for coming!! I loved this video and can’t believe that ID!!’
‘It’s mine,’ Hagey said in the video. ‘And I’m totally framing it.’
