Jackie Goldschneider is explaining herself after Margaret Josephs shared screenshots of her calling Dolores Catania a “slob” on The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14, Episode 7.
How? With some help from RHOBH alum Teddi Mellencamp, who shared Jackie’s clarification during a recent episode of her podcast, Two Ts in a Pod.
Jackie apparently sent said clarification via text, which Teddi read out loud during the episode. As she put it, “[Jackie] wrote, ‘Haha. I just meant it was sloppy behavior. I was venting privately to a friend before filming even started. Should have never been on camera. It was such a nasty thing to do.'”
Jackie also revealed what she thinks of Dolores today. “‘Obviously Dolores is not a slob, and I don’t hate her,” Jackie’s text continued, according to Teddi. “‘I was mad in the moment.'”
On the episode of RHONJ, Jackie further explained why she called Dolores a slob for not tagging her and her husband, Evan Goldschneider, in a group photo from Dolores’ baseball charity event.
“Slob, to me, it’s not a great thing to call somebody, but it’s not that bad,” Jackie said in an interview on the episode. “It just means, like, her behavior is mean and stupid and juvenile and petty. That’s what I mean by slobby.”

Dolores Catania’s reaction to Jackie’s “slob” text
After Dolores learned about Jackie’s jab, she explained why the insult was so hurtful.
“Slob, where I come from, is a nasty word,” Dolores said in an interview on Season 14, Episode 7. “Getting called a slob from the girl who’s a f-cking hot mess almost every day, crying all the time over everything, and I’m the slob? I’m the f-cking slob? OK, Jackie.”

Margaret, for her part, defended her decision to share the screenshot in an Instagram Story she posted after the episode aired. “Screenshots over cheap shots every time,” she wrote, referencing her Season 14 tagline.
