Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice was once thick as thieves with Dina Manzo. Both had serious blow-ups with Dina’s sister, Caroline Manzo. Dina dipped out of RHONJ during Season 2, before returning for Season 6 of the series. Ultimately, she decided that life in front of the cameras wasn’t for her.
Dina was reportedly set to be a bridesmaid in Teresa’s royal Jersey wedding to Luis Ruelas. But something happened between them, and Dina decided not to participate. It seems as though their relationship has gotten worse, not better.
Dina waited for justice
Teresa was a recent guest on Watch What Happens Live, and a fan asked a question about Dina. More specifically, the conviction of her ex-husband, Tommy Manzo, for hiring a mobster to attack Dina’s then-boyfriend, and current husband, David Cantin. Tommy hired John Perna, an alleged member of the Lucchese crime family, to beat up David in a strip mall parking lot in 2015. In return, John received a discounted wedding at The Brownstone venue. The facility is owned and operated by Tommy and his brother, Albert Manzo. And Albert just happens to be married to Caroline.
Dina’s ex-husband previously had the case thrown out. He claimed that his rights were violated under the Speedy Trial Act. The judge dismissed the case without prejudice, and the charges were refiled. Now Tommy is facing up to 46 years in prison and must cough up a $500,000 fine.
Teresa reached out to Dina
So, when Teresa hit the clubhouse, host Andy Cohen read a fan question about Dina. The fan “wants to know if you’ve spoken to Dina Manzo since her ex-husband’s conviction. If so, how is she doing? What’s your reaction to that whole thing?” Andy asked.
“Yeah. I texted her and umm … she hearted it,” Teresa replied. Brrr … that was a chilly response from Dina. But Andy soldiered on. “Okay. And what was your reaction?” he asked.
Teresa replied, “I … you know, justice was served.” What wasn’t being served was friendly vibes from Dina. She was actually with Teresa and Luis when he popped the question in Greece. So, Dina and Teresa were tight. But Dina unfollowed both Teresa and Luis on Instagram, confirming the feud rumors. Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga, floated a theory that it was Luis and David who had a falling out.
