John Janssen is literally a walking testimony because, about a year after his breakup with The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Shannon Storms Beador, the California businessman welcomed a new lady into this life, and it’s none other than Alexis Bellino.
Two months after confirming their relationship, John opened up about his “love” for Alexis in a February 2024 Instagram post. “We love each other…but more importantly, we laugh…A LOT,” he wrote in the caption of a video which showed the couple spending time together on his boat.

Where does John Janssen live?
John lives in Orange County, California, and his sleek pad is on the waterfront, which viewers got a glimpse of on Season 17, Episode 7 of RHOC.
During a confessional interview, Shannon explained that she and John considered moving in together before their relationship took a turn and they broke up in late 2022. “John and I have spoken about, when the kids go out of school, living together,” she said in an episode interview. “But we haven’t talked about any detail.”

John is a dad of two daughters and a son, who are all grown. In a video filmed for Bravo Insider in 2020, he sat down with his ex, Shannon, to share details about their upbringing and answer some questions about his personal life.

Since going public with their love connection, Alexis and John have been inseparable, but some may not be fully aware of when the two started dating.
After ending her engagement to Andy “Drew” Bohn in September 2023, Alexis was rumored to have started dating John in November 2023.The RHOC alum went Instagram official with him on Christmas Day 2023 by posting a photo of herself wearing two rings he gave her as a gift.

Why did John Janssen break up with Shannon Storms Beador?

During her January 12, 2023, appearance on Jeff Lewis Live, Shannon shed light on her split from John after nearly four years of dating. “Yesterday was a really, really hard day for me and I couldn’t stop crying,” Shannon said. “And I don’t know how I would’ve handled things had I just been sitting at home.”
The mom of three went on to share that John told her that he was “done with the relationship,” which blindsided her, considering they “were in a great place.”
In his own statement to People, John opened up about the “super hard” decision for him to dissolve things with Shannon in 2022.
“I’ve been in pain over it. It’s sad because I love Shannon very much,” John said. “I have loved her more deeply than any woman in my life. She’s one of a kind; so funny and generous and full of life and adventurous. We have a connection that’s unlike anything I’ve ever had. And I know that for as long as I live, I’ll never meet anyone like her again. But that doesn’t mean we’re right for each other for the rest of our lives.”
He continued, “The last thing I wanted to do is hurt Shannon, but I do think I did the right thing for the both of us. We’re two people who love each other very much, but love is not always enough. And while I know Shannon sees it as I’ve said things to her I never meant, I hope she’ll be able to see that there’s no bad person here. It’s two really good people who couldn’t make it work.”
