REAL Housewives of New Jersey cast are putting the blame on Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga’s feud when it comes to the current status of the show and even the future, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.
This season of RHONJ reportedly had the lowest-rated episode so far – episode three at 0.699 million viewers – in the history of the show as well as the lowest ratings of 14 seasons.

There are now talks of there being a reboot of the show following this season due to the low ratings as well as the divide among the cast – with there being separate teams, “Team Melissa” and “Team Teresa” amid the rivals’ ongoing estrangement.
A source revealed to The U.S. Sun that, after reading fan comments on social media and realizing that this season isn’t getting a favorable response to the “change in dynamics and friendships,” they’re putting the blame on the RHONJ OGs.
“It seems like the cast is in part blaming Teresa and Melissa’s feud for the poor ratings and the uncertain future,” the insider spilled.
“Fans followed their relationship since Melissa became a housewife in season three and they want to continue to see the ups and downs.”
Currently, there is “no relationship” since the sisters-in-law are not even on speaking terms and don’t acknowledge each other.
In fact, the producers have decided to not make the feud between Teresa, 52, and Melissa, 45, a storyline this season.
Instead, the focus is now on the other friendships like Jackie Goldschneider’s reconciliation with Teresa, and feuds, such as Rachel Fuda’s animosity toward Teresa and the soon-to-air “big fight” between Danielle Cabral and Jennifer Aydin.
“There was a date scheduled to tape the reunion for the end of June and as of last week, the cast each got a phone call from the network and said to no longer hold the date because they’re not going to have a traditional reunion,” a source told The U.S. Sun.
The reason being is because “there’s no resolution to how this season ends” and once the “dramatic” finale airs, “it will become clear why there’s no reunion,” per the source.
The season finale, which has yet to have an air date, features an all-cast dinner that took place at Rails Steakhouse in Towaco, NJ.
As seen in a teaser that was released, Dolores Catania can be seen sitting at the table by yourself as shattered glass is all over the floor.
The insider continued: “All of the cast is in the dark about the reunion and even what’s going to happen after this season is over.
“It’s still too early to know about season 15 but everyone has no clue.”
The insider went on to say that they have “no clue if there is another season or even who is safe and who is on the chopping block.”
“It seems like the cast is more anxious about what’s going to happen next and just waiting for another update,” the insider said.
‘WALKING ON EGGSHELLS’
The insider further claimed that “everyone is walking on eggshells.”

“They’re scared of speaking out and possibly having it backfire and putting their job on the line,” the source shared.
“Execs are keeping a close eye on what they are posting on social media because there have been many leaks to fan pages.”
Joe Gorga confirmed himself on Instagram that no one from the cast is getting screeners for each new episode because this season has already been leaked.
During an interview with SiriusXM’s Reality Checked, Housewives producer Andy Cohen admitted that he “hates leaks” and said that the cast of RHONJ is “so fed up with each other.”
“There are teams of people against each other and I think you would probably agree that one of the things that didn’t work about the last season of Potomac was that the group, it was kind of no coming together for this group,” he said on the podcast.
“It was like unheard of, so that’s our thing to solve for next season of Jersey and we can do it and we will figure it out, but in terms of the leaks, I hate leaks.
“I just think that there’s a supreme level of kind of distrust amongst the cast with each other and that’s never healthy in terms of trying to make a great television show.”
The U.S. Sun has reached out to Bravo for comment on this story.
SPEAKING OUT
Meanwhile, it doesn’t seem like there will be any resolution to Melissa and Teresa’s ongoing feud since their relationship is “over.”
Melissa told Andy on a recent Watch What Happens Live episode, “It’s real. It’s finally is what it is. Like, the gloves are off, the masks are off.
“There’s no [relationship]. You mine as well stop asking me. It’s not happening anymore. I just want to be totally honest with you. Play your games [on WWHL], do whatever you want to do. It’s so over.”
Teresa also agreed and said something similar when she appeared on The Talk.
“After what they did after my wedding. Tried to make my wedding all about them. That was the last straw. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back,” she told the program’s hosts.
“I get if a stranger goes against me – and that’s fine because you expect that from a stranger – but when your family member deliberately hurts you, that’s on a whole another level.”
Teresa got married to her now-husband Luis “Louie” Ruelas in August 2022 in New Jersey.
When asked if there was any chance of reconciliation, the mom-of-four responded “no” and said that she gets “signs” from her late parents that she’s “on the right track.”
Melissa’s husband, Joe, then publicly slammed her comments, calling her behavior “disgusting” and saying she was a “sick human being.”
