Things are getting even messier for the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip and Brandi Glanville.
Fans of the show have been keeping up with the news surrounding them since it broke in January 2023 that Brandi was asked to leave the season early after allegedly sexually assaulting Caroline Manzo. She has since denied the allegations and spoke out after Caroline’s bombshell lawsuit against the network in early 2024. In new legal documents, the former Real Housewives of New Jersey OG detailed the alleged incident, saying Brandi “forcibly fondled” her private area while she begged for help from producers.
Caroline opens up about alleged assault with Brandi
“When Glanville was sexually assaulting me on the sofa, she was rubbing her vagina on me. The producers just watched and kept filming,” Caroline said in the affidavit obtained by Page Six. “They saw that I was in distress, and yet, they continued to film.”
Elsewhere in the documents, Caroline noted Brandi “locked me in the bathroom [and] forcibly fondled my vagina against my will.” She said producers “did not help” although they watched her attempts to escape.
The affidavit also reads, “Glanville maliciously sexually assaulted me for her own sexual gratification.”
“She did this by forcibly kissing me, rubbing her vagina on me, and then fondling my vagina against my will.”
Earlier this year, an executive producer on the series seemingly came to Brandi’s defense, saying the outspoken (and oftentimes inappropriate) reality star didn’t “sexually violate” Caroline.
“Our primary concern at that point was making sure that Manzo felt safe. She told us that she felt safe, that she wanted to continue to film, and that she did not want Glanville to be sent home.”
Brandi commented on their statements on X, writing she’d been “vindicated [by] Bravo,” but “nobody cares.”
“I guess it’s much more exciting when I’m being accused of sexual assault or being called a rapist,” she wrote. “What is wrong with f*cking people? I guess ruining lives is more exciting than vindicating a person SERIOUSLY!”
