Chanel Ayan lashed out at Sara Al Madani for allegedly painting her as a victim after she shared her story about female genital mutilation on Sunday’s season premiere of The Real Housewives Of Dubai.
The 45-year-old Kenya native said after she shared last season what happened to her and her sister when they were only five-years-old that she was attacked by members of her own community and felt that Sara contributed.
The outburst happened after Sara, 41, said she just started doing spiritual therapy and made fellow housewife Caroline Brooks, 38, start as well. Sara said the shaman looks deep into their soul in sessions.
‘To hear you speak like that it really, really makes me so confused, Sara,’ Chanel said. ‘Just like what you are doing with Brooks. I really trusted you. I literally f***ing opened up to you about my story. Then I see you calling me a victim!’

‘I said your story is not an excuse for you to be mean to people,’ Sara said.
‘How the f*** do I use my story to be a victim, Sara,’ Chanel said.
‘I never said you are playing victim,’ Sara said.
‘Yeah, you did!’ Chanel said.
‘Your husband and you called me to thank me,’ Sara said.
‘Yeah before you put a knife in my back’ Chanel said.
Sara told her it just meant ‘don’t bleed the people who didn’t cut you.’
‘All I said was you victimize yourself because you want to be the center of attention, and it’s true!’ Sara said.

The season two premiere episode titled ‘The V.V.I.P.’ opened with Chanel meeting Lesa Milan, 35, a maternity fashion designer, to play Padel ball.
‘I’m in this really positive space and I just want to have fun,’ Lesa said.
Lesa said in a confessional that last month she and Chanel went to the opening of the Atlantis The Royal hotel and the finale was a Beyoncé concert.
‘They were so jealous,’ Chanel said. ‘We were in the V.V.I.P.’

‘We were in the V.V.I.P. where you couldn’t get in,’ Lesa added.
‘I was partying with Kendall [Jenner],’ Chanel said in a confessional. ‘Beyonce’s mom was there. None of the other ladies were in the VIP.’
Caroline Stanbury, 48, said in a confessional that she was so close to Beyonce’s show that she got wet from the stage.
‘The VVIPs were another block away,’ Caroline said. ‘I sat on the stage.’
Caroline went out with her 29-year-old husband Sergio Carrallo. She said they had been married for one year.
‘He’s still as clingy as ever,’ Caroline said in confessional.
Caroline said they were still building their dream home, which had put a strain in their marriage. She said they moved in with her best friend Michael and had been staying with him for 12 weeks.

‘Michael has very politely asked if we didn’t do sex gymnastics,’ Caroline said. ‘Sergio is dying.’
‘Building a house in Dubai is very, very stressful,’ Caroline said a confessional. ‘Getting a mortgage is like winning the lottery here. Because I’m 46, I had to do a full body health check.’
Caroline said Sergio really wants a baby so she went through IVF last year and currently has ‘one baby boy embryo on ice where he can stay for the foreseeable future.’
Caroline Brooks, 38, was excited that her beauty salon The Glass House had finally opened. Zoran, Caroline’s ex-husband who was the spa’s contractor, stopped by to check on things. Caroline said having him as the contractor helped her get all the construction done in record speed.
Sara met with a spiritual healer to help her get through her trauma and to heal from past relationships. She said she was scared about falling in love with the wrong person again and that her previous exes were abusers and unfaithful. She screamed into the pillow while the healer beat a drum around her.
‘I feel nothing but light,’ Sara said afterward.
Lesa took her sons to soccer practice and shared that her sons Max, eight, and Sebastian, six, had been accepted into Manchester City Academy. Lesa worked on the sidelines on her Mino Roe maternity fashion line.

Caroline Stanbury met Chanel for lunch. Chanel brought her pineapple as a peace offering saying it symbolized being hard on the outside but sweet inside. Caroline said she hoped they could start their relationship afresh. They both talked about being nervous with their children going to America for college.
‘I want to be happy,’ Chanel said. ‘I’ve been sad a lot lately.’
‘You’re hanging out with Beyonce,’ Caroline said. ‘ What’s to be upset about?’
‘Since I opened up about my FGM story, I actually got attacked so much by my own people,’ Chanel said. ‘It was so bad.’
Chanel said in a confessional that she comes from a culture where people don’t talk about those things. She said Sara encouraged her to open up and then went to the media and claimed she was just playing the victim.

‘I was angry from it,’ Chanel said. ‘I was sad from it. Why make me open up and do this to me. It made me go back into a cocoon.’
Chanel said she also found out that her mother was 80 and not 65 and that she might be older than Caroline.
‘That would make me so happy and absolutely hilarious,’ Caroline said.
‘I think I could be 50,’ Chanel said.
‘Well you look good,’ Caroline said.
Caroline Brooks met her friend Taleen Marie, 36, a new housewife, for coffee. Taleen said Caroline was the first friend she met when she moved to Dubai.
Later, the women met for brunch on the beach. Lesa . told Caroline Stanbury that she thought they got off on the wrong foot.

‘Here’s to new beginnings,’ Caroline said.
Taleen said she wrote music when she lived in Los Angeles and went on tour with Christina Aguilera and even opened for Sting.
‘When I met the love of my life, Raffi, I kind of had to choose: do I want to pursue music or love, and move all the way across the globe?’ Taleen said. ‘That’s what I did and it was totally worth it.’
Chanel told Taleen that she heard that she fell down at the Beyonce show.

‘Sergio saw your vagina,’ Caroline said.
‘I’m glad I waxed that day,’ Taleen said.
Taleen checked with Caroline to make sure they were good and she said they were and that she had just been joking.
