Tom Brаdy Reveаls How He’ll Judge Hіmself Aѕ An NFL Broаdcаster

This fall marks Tom Brady’s first foray into broadcasting with FOX Sports after two years away from the game.

Now as he transitions to the booth, the seven-time Super Bowl champ shared with Colin Cowherd how he’ll view success as an analyst for the network’s primetime games.

Certainly as broadcaster, I don’t think for me its about competition. I think for me it’s about did I put everything I could into it and did I give the fans everything that they tuned in for. That’s really how I’ll end up gauging myself and I’ll have to look at myself at the end of every Sunday night going, ‘Did I do a good enough job? Did I live up to the expectation FOX had for me? Did I live up to the expectations of my teammates?’ … That’s ultimately how I’ll judge myself in that new role.

Few athletes have dedicated themselves to their craft like Tom Brady has and it’s hard to imagine that won’t extend into his job at FOX.

The network reportedly signed Brady to a 10-year, $375 million deal to call “America’s Game of the Week” every Sunday alongside Kevin Burkhardt.

It’s certainly not a given that Brady ends up being an all-time sportscaster. But it also wasn’t a given that he’d go from being a sixth-round pick to the GOAT at quarterback.
