The ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ star was shunned by her cast members and exited after just one season, but Bravo doesn’t seem done with her yet.
RECEIPTS. PROOF. TIMELINE. SCREENSHOTS. All signs point to a possible return of Miss Monica Garcia aka Reality Von Tease to the Bravo universe.
Monica Garcia stood in the center of the reality TV hurricane that was The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4, stirring up all kinds of trouble on her first (and so far only) season on the show. She called Lisa Barlow old during Whitney Rose‘s sound bath, she fought with her mother at Angie Katsanevas‘ Greek Easter celebration and she was, of course, outed as internet troll Reality Von Tease during a girls trip to Bermuda. Monica was RATINGS gold and helped produce one of the best seasons of television in reality TV history (including 100 seasons of The Real Housewives). However, despite Bravo’s seeming reluctance to drop Garcia and the internet’s clamoring for more Monica, the other RHOSLC cast members, lead by Barlow and Heather Gay, banded together to get Garcia fired.

As Season 5 continues filming, reports of three new cast members being added to replace Garcia are bouncing around the internet (although Bravo has not confirmed the new cast). Fans are nearly certain the new season will be underwhelming after the masterpiece that was Season 4 and are anxious for more Monica.
At an event held for Fresca’s alcoholic beverage line, Fresca Mixed, Parade chatted with Real Housewives producer, reunion moderator and Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen about the state of Bravo and whether a return of Monica Garcia may be possible.

When asked if Monica Garcia would ever return to The Real Housewives, Cohen said, “I think Monica Garcia will. I hope that Monica is back in some form.” Whether she will return to RHOSLC as a full cast member, make a guest appearance or possibly star in an upcoming season of the spinoff The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip remains to be seen, but Bravo seems to be making themselves clear. They’d like more Monica Garcia if they can get it.

At the Fresca Mixed event launching their new line of flavors, Cohen also stated that he’d love to see Kim Richards return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. “We got Porcha [Williams] back in Atlanta, which I’m really excited about,” he said. “Alexis [Bellino] is back in Orange County. I think now that we’ve got Kyle [Richards] and Kathy [Hilton], it would be fun if Kim Richards came back to Beverly Hills.”
Cohen also weighed in on the upcoming third season of Peacock’s The Traitors, saying that there would in fact be cast members form The Real Housewives competing. “I know who’s on next season, but I can’t talk about it,” he said.
As to whether Cohen would like to compete on The Traitors himself, he said, “I would love to go on The Traitors, but I think I would be voted off immediately. None of these people would trust me. I think I would have a target on my back immediately.”
Cohen, who has been the longtime host of Watch What Happens Live, which will celebrate its 15th anniversary shortly, has been a longtime fan of Fresca. In fact, even before Fresca unveiled their line of vodka spritz drinks, Cohen was making his own Fresca cocktails for the show. “I’ve been making Fresca drinks for 15 years,” he said. “I usually drink some sort of Fresca cocktail [on Watch What Happens Live].” His favorite flavor in the new variety pack, dubbed “Act II” is the Black Cherry Citrus.
When asked which of the housewives he’d like to gossip with over a Fresca Mixed vodka spritz, Cohen answered Porsha Williams, Dolores Catania and Kyle Richards. If you’re any of the other housewives, you might want to up your gossip game if you want an invite to the next Fresca Mixed hang.
