Cryѕtal Kung Mіnkoff Reveаls Whіch RHOBH Stаr Dіdn’t Text Her After Exіt

Crystal Kung Minkoff is leaving the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Since learning of her departure, all of her former co-stars have messaged her except one — Dorit Kemsley.

“She’s the only one who didn’t text me,” Crystal said.

But she was quick to add that it didn’t bother her. On a recent episode of Jeff Lewis Live, Crystal told host and Flipping Out alum Jeff Lewis that she guessed that Dorit was likely focusing on her own future with the franchise. Plus, she didn’t have a relationship with Dorit anyway.

No love lost

It’s no surprise Dorit didn’t reach out or that Crystal was unbothered by the lack of communication. Despite starring together on RHOBH (Dorit since season 7 and Crystal since season 11), the two were often at odds.

This escalated in January this year when Dorit called Cyrstal a “child bride” on the heels of the former’s comment about the Real Housewives not being “highly educated” resurfaced.

Crystal was naturally unhappy with the comment and had previously said the comment felt “loaded.” She also shared how it seemed directed at her intentionally despite some other housewives marrying younger than she did.

So it tracks that Dorit wouldn’t reach out to Crystal when she learned she wouldn’t be returning for the new season.

RHOBH departure

Cyrstal also touched on her RHOBH exit during the Jeff Lewis episode. When Bravo executives asked how she felt about the show while discussing a contract for season 14, she told the truth.

“I was honest with them about how I felt about the show,” Crystal said. “And I shared it was hard for me.” During the conversation, she also may have alluded to wanting to keep her marriage and family life a little more private.

“My family is the most important,” she explained. “More important than any job and the show is touch. It reveals a lot. I just want to be protective of my family.”

Crystal clarified she didn’t quit the show. However, she also understands that producers and viewers may have wanted more from her than she felt able to give due to her boundaries.
