Lisa Barlow of RHOSLC Fires Back at Explosive Cocaine Use Allegations

Part of Lisa Barlow’s charm on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is that she doesn’t hold anything back. It doesn’t matter if she’s speaking to her castmates or her fans, Lisa speaks her truth (and spills the tea). The tea was spilled, yet again, when a fan questioned if Lisa was on any illegal substances because of her energy level in Season 5. As always, Lisa clapped back in a very “Lisa” way.

Season 4 of RHOSLC ended with the women finding out a new Housewife and close friend was actually an online troll who bullied them for years. Now, with new faces, drama, and alliances, Lisa is off to the races for a new season of reality TV’s favorite Salt Lake City show.

A Fan Questioned Lisa Barlow’s Drug Use On Social Media

After the release of Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, a fan questioned “Is Lisa Barlow on cocaine” on X. Lisa made sure to respond with sarcasm. As a business owner, mother of two, and wife, Lisa holds herself to a higher standard and considers herself “Mormon 2.0.” Drugs would not be a part of her journey, but soda is.

Just Diet Coke …. And thank you for recognizing that I have high energy.

Lisa’s fans quickly came to her defense on social media. Although Lisa claims to be Mormon (like many of the Salt Lake City Housewives), she’s not completely active in the church, as she claims.

Mary Cosby rejoins The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City tonight, but that doesn’t mean she regrets leaving.

Things Lisa Barlow Does That Are Against the Mormon Religion

Lisa owns a tequila brand called Vida Tequila. The Church of Jesus Christ states that Mormons do not consume alcohol of any kind. While Mormons can sell alcohol at their establishments or within their brand, it’s not the purest of looks. Lisa also drinks Vida Tequila and other cocktails while filming. Foul language or curse words is another no-no in the Mormon religion, which Lisa has shown to ignore during her time on RHOSLC. The Mormon religion does not accept gambling. However, Lisa and her castmates were seen playing roulette in an episode.

Fans of Lisa’s know how dedicated she is to Diet Coke and fast food in general. Since becoming a Housewife, Lisa has partnered with Wendy’s, Diet Coke, Poppi, and has showcased her love for McDonald’s and Taco Bell.

Lisa Barlow’s estimated net worth is $5 million.

By name-dropping Diet Coke in her response to the online troll, Lisa also proved that she’s dedicated to the brands she’s partnered with. A tried and true businesswoman!

Lisa Barlow Is Off To A Dramatic Start In Season 5

Lisa Barlow’s obsession with Diet Coke and Wendy’s is the easiest thing about her day-to-day life. However, she has bigger fish to fry in Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

The latest season opened with Lisa’s issues with fellow Housewife Whitney Rose. According to Collider, Whitney claimed Lisa was the “villain” of the series. Considering the series is attached to Jen Shah (a convicted criminal), Mary Cosby (an alleged cult leader), and Monica Garcia (an online Real Housewives troll under an alias), claiming Lisa was the villain of the series was a stretch.

Season 5 of the The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is about to start. Here’s a look at the cast and where the show will pick up.

Whitney claimed, “[Lisa’s] fake. She’s phony. She’s not presenting herself as–I couldn’t even tell you five facts about Lisa other than she loves herself, she loves Diet Coke, and she now works at Wendy’s. I don’t know anything about the woman.”

Lisa didn’t let Whitney’s words go without a fight. The two had a screaming match at the end of the season premiere. Based on how the second episode went, it appears Lisa holds her ground against Whitney throughout the season.

The reality tv star was ousted from the show after she admitted to posting racially insensitive Facebook statuses.

Thanks to the Season 5 trailer, Lisa continues to call Whitney a “liar” and even confronts Whitney’s husband about his wife’s comments. As RHOSLC fans know, Lisa and Whitney’s war of words is not a first for the two.

Whitney and Lisa’s Feud History

Utah Jazz Tickets

In Season 4, Whitney Rose alleged that Lisa Barlow did salacious things with business colleagues in order to get free Utah Jazz tickets. Lisa vehemently denied these allegations and took offense as a business owner and loyal wife.

Whitney Claimed Lisa Was Behind Meredith’s Rumors

In 2021, Lisa told Bravo Insider, “Whitney and I don’t have a friendship.” Whitney alleged that Lisa was the one who spread rumors about her former best friend Meredith Marks’s marriage, which severely altered their friendship.

Bad Weather

Lisa called Heather Gay and Whitney’s “bad weather” at the Season 1 finale because of the alliance they formed. “Whitney, Heather, Bad Weather. Tornado, spin the truth, destroy,” she shouted.

Angie Harrington

Lisa brought her friend Angie Harrington to the series as a longtime friend. Things changed when Angie and Whitney became close. Lisa no longer trusted Angie and their friendship was destroyed because of back-and-forth rumors.

Considering five seasons of rumors, lies, and spats, it’s hard to say if Lisa Barlow and Whitney Rose will ever squash the beef. Tension like that is hard to put to bed so easily. Aside from Whitney, Lisa remains true to herself and focuses on her family, brand deals, and business ventures—all while sipping Diet Coke!

Only time will tell how Lisa continues to handle all of the drama in her life as the season moves forward. It seems that she’ll have to manage her image both with her fellow cast members and with fans who are watching her from home and casting their own judgments about how she appears on their screen. Until then, all previous seasons of The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City are available to watch on both Bravo and on Peacock.
