Angie Katsanevas certainly made a statement during Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Season 5 premiere. Now, she’s capitalizing on that statement with Andy Cohen.
For those who missed the premiere, Angie confronted Meredith Marks, demanding an apology from her. When Meredith asked what she had to apologize for, Angie pulled out a lengthy scroll with a list of her grievances. Angie’s beef with Meredith continues still via social media.
Love her or hate her, at least Angie turned up prepared. The moment certainly caught viewers attention. It didn’t take long for Angie to put a positive spin on the gag.
Angie Katsanevas sings her praises for Andy Cohen’s TV career
Angie recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live to present her gift to Andy. “Angie, you have something?” Andy asked. “You brought a scroll?” Angie said, “Oh, well, I mean,” before responding to applause and cheers. She explained, “I never go anywhere empty-handed.”
Angie continued, “If you don’t have off-camera conversations, or do dirty things that we can’t flash back to, and if you don’t say mazel tov to mean tweets about me, I give not just a scroll of grievances, but a scroll with a list of all the things that I love about you.” Angie unraveled the nearly three-foot-long piece of paper.
The scroll read: “You picked me as your first Greek Housewife. You’re a great Daddy. And a handsome Zaddy. You’ve revolutionized television. The way you bring out the best (and sometimes the worst) in TV stars is a gift. You’re the hostess with the mostess. No one knows how to read an audience (or a housewife) quite like you.”
And lastly, the scroll read, “Your vision and creativity have given me a whole new chapter of life I never anticipated.” Andy said he’d never received a scroll before and called the gift “lovely.”
