On the Season 5 premiere of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, fans met Bravo newcomer Bronwyn Newport — and her larger-than-life style. In Episode 2, which aired on September 25, Bronwyn brought viewers inside her stunning, colorful Utah home, which, unsurprisingly, also featured an over-the-top design.
“Gwen and Todd and I have lived in this house in Salt Lake City for a year-and-a-half,” Bronwyn stated on the episode, referring to her teenage daughter, Gwen, and husband, Todd. The Utah ‘Wife went on to explain why the house remained “unfinished” at the time of taping.
“Todd would love [it] if we’d already decorated. Todd is a ‘finished is better than perfect’ kind of guy,” Bronwyn explained before jokingly mouthing, “I’m not.”
In the video above, Bronwyn gave BravoTV.com a full tour of the “unfinished” home, pointing out some of its incredibly unique details.
“I love a project,” Bronwyn states in the video. “I wanted this old haunted house in Salt Lake that we could remodel.”
In addition to the unique, colorful elements, like the rounded cozy chairs and sofas, Bronwyn shows off the home’s stellar views via large, almost floor-to-ceiling windows that look out to the gorgeous Utah landscape.

The color continued into a space just off the living room area, which Bronwyn notes is “going to be a TV/media room one day.”
After pointing out the “rainbow couches” that dot the area, the Utah mom reveals what her husband thought about the aesthetic.
“Once they arrived, my husband told me they looked like a middle school science project,” she says with a smirk. “Honestly, that made me love them even more.”

The kitchen has just as much pop as Bronwyn’s other spaces, with bright blue cabinetry set against white and gray marble countertops.
“Not my most used room of the house, but the kitchen is by far the prettiest room of the house,” Bronwyn shares.

Moving into her office, which Bronwyn calls her “favorite space,” we were instantly struck by the spacious room’s light lavender walls, which had numerous shelves built in.
The shelves featured various colorful elements, with everything from a pair of low-top Nike sneakers with a red-and-white colorway to multi-colored coffee table books from Assouline’s Travel Series.

The cherry on top? Bronwyn’s extensive collection of Judith Leiber bags.
“I collect Judith Leibers, I think I’m up to 75,” she shares of the bejeweled bags, which typically retail for around $6,000 each.
Bronwyn Newport Explains Her Style
In an interview confessional on the premiere episode, Bronwyn opened up about her unique sense of style.
“‘Funny chaos’ is kind of my brand, my aesthetic at this point,” she said in the confessional. “I don’t think I set out for that, but that’s where I thrive.”

Bronwyn added about her one-of-akind aesthetic: “I have never desired to look sexy or cool. I am fully dressed right now like a Tim Burton character and I feel amazing, thank you for asking!
