Katie Ginella is insisting that she has more receipts that prove Heather Dubrow called the paparazzi on herself and her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, amid rumors of marital turmoil in late 2022.
After the 40-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County newbie attempted to prove that Heather, 55, had done so with a text from an unnamed friend who worked for a photo agency amid season 18, Katie said that while there is “more” to the story, she won’t be sharing any additional receipts.
“There is more,” Katie shared during a September 16 appearance on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. “My husband [Matt Ginella] and I have been in media for 20 years. We’ve known this person, and he is in charge of a big company that controls the paparazzi.”
On RHOC, after Katie questioned the person about whether Heather had called photographers, they responded with a text that said, “Yes,” which many felt wasn’t enough to prove anything.
As rumors continue to swirl and questions remain, Katie confirmed that she was not going to share more of her and the unnamed person’s text messages because she “[respects] his job and [respects] his position.”
“I wouldn’t do that to him,” she explained. “I guess it’s going to look like that’s not a good enough receipt, but I’m going to be respectful to a friend, a dear friend.”
As fans will recall, Heather was accused of staging a photo session at Disneyland with Terry, 66, seemingly in an effort to shut down reports claiming he had cheated during the 17th season of the Bravo reality series. While Katie wasn’t involved with the show at that time, she brought up the topic when she was added to the cast for season 18.
Throughout the currently-airing season, Heather has repeatedly denied having called the paparazzi on herself and Terry. And when it comes to Katie’s unnamed friend, the person is staying out of the drama.
“They kind of just disengage,” Katie said. “But I do know that there’s more.”
After noting that she and Heather are no longer speaking, Katie suspected that “semantics” were at play in Heather’s denial of her involvement with photographers.
“If you look back, I think it’s semantics a lot. Heather said, ‘I didn’t call, I didn’t call,’” she noted. “Well, that doesn’t mean your assistant or a friend [didn’t]. … It’s pretty obvious.”
