Devin Booker became the youngest player in NBA history to score 70 points seven years ago today
Just seven years ago, on March 24, 2024, a 20-year-old Devin Booker scored 70 points, a career-high, in a game against the Boston Celtics.

Booker had never scored more than 60 points in a single game until this season, when he went for 62 against the Pacers.
Booker scored 51 of his team-high points in the second half, but the Suns still fell to the Celtics 130–120. With eight boards, six assists, and three steals, he was quite the player.
3-24-17 – On the 27th anniversary of Tom Chambers’ 60-point game, Devin Booker tied his own record for points in a quarter with 28, broke the Phoenix Suns record for points in a game with 70 (T-6/and youngest in #NBA history), and finished the game with 51 points in a half.
