The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Jennifer Pedranti really goes through it during season 18. The RHOC star is a relative newbie to the show but there doesn’t seem to be any letting up when it comes to her cast members going in on her. The mom of five chats with Jeff Lewis on his SiriusXM radio this fall sharing how “grateful” she is for her TV career.
Jen Pedranti made her Real Housewives of Orange County debut in season 17. She and her partner, Ryan Boyaijan, rose to fame last year. Since then, details of Jen’s past including a divorce and financial woes have come to light. She explained, speaking on Melissa Gorga’s On Display podcast this August, how she’d dealt with the “lowest year of her life” and faced $24k debt at one time.

Jen Pedranti ‘grateful’ for RHOC
Jen Pedranti shares how “grateful” she is for her role on The Real Housewives of Orange County this September.
Appearing as a guest on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live alongside Mercedes Javid, Jen explains how she’s facing some financial difficulties in the midst of her divorce.
She says: “My ex is still in a spot, so everything, when it comes to a lot of expenses is on me…”
Jen adds: “If I didn’t have the Housewives job, I don’t know where I would be. I’m just grateful that I do have that.”
Jen’s kids keep her updated
Although radio show host Jeff and fellow guest star Mercedes express their concerns over Jen’s financial woes, she details how the lack of communication with her ex is what is causing her to be in a “tough spot.”
She explains: “I wish he and I could communicate. It’s a point of contention for Ryan and I…”
“He’s the dad of my kids, so there’s a line of trying to be sympathetic to it… the kids and I do have a home.”
Jeff pitches in: “Thanks to Ryan…”
Jen adds that she and her ex “have communicated a little bit,” adding: “He has said I need a little bit of time…”
She continues to “thank God” for “Ryan’s home,” and “the little income that I have.”
Airing her frustrations, Jen wishes her former partner would communicate with her: “Tell me what the hell is going on… the lack of communication is what makes it so hard.”
The RHOC star explains her ex “is in South County as well… the kids are like ‘dad is working,’ ‘dad is on a call’, because I’ll ask, you know, ‘how’s your dad?’ because they do see their dad on Tuesday and Thursday nights and every other weekend.”
