South Chіna Seа reveаls two аncient ѕhipwreckѕ

During a scientific research mission in October, a team from the Institute of Deep-sea Science and Engineering with the Chinese Academy of Sciences made an unprecedented discovery. Ancient shipwrecks, believed to date back to the mid-Ming Dynasty, were found approximately 1,500 meters beneath the surface of the South China Sea. The discovery was announced on Sunday by the National Cultural Heritage Administration in the coastal city of Sanya, Hainan province.

Two shipwrecks from the mid-Ming Dynasty were found in the South China Sea.

The shipwrecks were discovered by a scientific research team in October at a depth of 1,500 meters.

This marks the first time China has discovered a large-scale ancient shipwreck in deep sea.
